The Winter Solstice

0:00 Speaker 1 Sunday morning, three days before Christmas and all through the night. What is going on up there? Witness is Steve Kates, otherwise known as Doctor Sky for our Sunday Morning discussion. Well, Steve, there’s so many things going on. The drones, who the heck are they? What’s going on in the skies? Where do you want to start this morning?

0:27 Speaker 2 Well, John, I wanted to wish everybody a happy softness welcome to winter as we talk about this interesting story. But right at the tip of our tongue, of course, views and opinions on the drums, and once again I appreciate the opportunity to share on the Cat’s roundtable. I believe seriously the federal government, our government is hiding the

0:45 truth from us. I think, not to sound the alarmist, that there’s much more to this radiation story, and it all coincides with so many things happening. Where is New York in the metro area, the financial capital of the world.

0:58 And also we have an inauguration coming up and what maybe less than a month or so, So I don’t know if we’ll love to get the answer to that. But I also believe that People’s Republic of China is indeed complicit. I can’t prove it finding these over our military installations and simply maybe mapping out our power and

1:16 water corids. So we have two things going on, and let’s hope in the next few days, if not already, we’ll maybe get some more serious answers. But John, would we believe that until we have solid proof? Right?

1:27 Speaker 1 I don’t Under this administration, I’ve lost all confidence. I don’t think we’re going to get any answers until at least President Trump has inaugurated done on January twentieth and two.

1:41 Speaker 2 O’ I agree with you, John, And you know there’s so many other things to share with the listeners that are not only mysteries. But how about this one. We find out that a one trillion ton iceberg has broken loose in Antarctica. It’s known as Iceberg A twenty three.

1:57 Here’s a size three times the size of Los Angele Angels, nearly the side of Rhode Island and basically summer blaming it on the concept of global warming climate change. But it’s been stuck along the fissure ice shelf since nineteen eighty eight and it’s now moving, so who knows where it’s going? To go, it will probably break up. But

2:15 the largest iceberg john that we ever knew about, at least in Antarctica, was the B fifteen iceberg. Here’s amazing as far as size one hundred and eighty six miles by twenty five miles, So that’s almost the size of this state of Connecticut. Just knowing as we talk here on the Cats Round Table about the great mysteries that

2:35 underlie the area of Antarctica, a most amazing story that we’ll talk about in the future too. But I also wanted to.

2:42 Speaker 1 Measure you’re telling the truth when you say mysteries, because there’s so much, you know, I am shocked by the amount of information we don’t know.

2:54 Speaker 2 You’re right, it’s just incredible, and briefly, I know time is limited. We talk about the mystery of the week, Well, how about one that’s more a little bit in line with peace and happiness, The mystery of the Salstue Christmas and something that the Romans celebrated. Obviously, Christmas is an important day, hanka season we all celebrate and we wish

3:12 everybody peace and happiness and great you know, a great twenty twenty five. But if we go back to Christmas, time, there was a celebration called Saturnalia in the Roman world, and this was an allegiance or celebration of the Roman gods Saturn, which was the god of agriculture. So there was a lot of frivoldy and all kinds of drinking

3:31 and celebrations. Get a lover of this from December seventeenth to the twenty third and also marking that great moment that we’re now experiencing now as we move into the Salstus. That’s a beautiful story and there’s so much more to talk about that. Many mysteries about where these things came from, and great stories from history. And you know, there’s a

3:51 couple of other quick things I wanted to mention here. Let’s talk about the Chinese space program. You know space X seems to have the big edge on the Starling Settle, but China, earlier this year John has started to launch their own satellite constellation called thousand Sales, and now the other day they lost to glow Wong series, which may

4:11 put up another three to twelve thousand satellites in low Earth orbit. So space is what we say it a lot, a very crowded place. We need traffic police up there being facetious of course, some way to do what because when we look into the nighttime sky, so many objects are being reported as drones.

4:32 Speaker 1 Is that similar to what Elon Musk is doing with space things?

4:39 Speaker 2 Yes, absolutely, and that’s for there as they say, you know, being fair to the what we think we know about the Chinese military or Chinese space program, they’re saying that that’s for future communication, just like we have with starlink, so you can talk and have the Internet in inaccessible places like if you and I were in Antarctica, we

4:58 could simply set up our little receiver. But if space is becoming so crowded. But John, here’s another quick take on this, going back to the drones. And again I say this with respect to everyone. Not everybody’s a serious skywatcher.

5:09 And it’s so important because I covered the Phoenix light story, which was in nineteen ninety seven, and we can expound on that some other time. We were never told the truth about that. But seriously, most people, if you’re told by this Panacea and the media, but there’s something out there that’s flying over your house, I can say this

5:26 way that about eighty percent of the things that people are seeing this may sound controversial to many do have an earth based existence. Of course, drones are, but in other words, not everything that you see in the sky.

5:38 And I’m not doubting people are seeing low flying drones. But everybody who goes out and doesn’t know the sky, what would I do? What would you do? We would look and say, oh, well, that light that’s flashing over there is definitely a UFO, which it is, so you identify it. So that’s what we do here in this program,

5:53 try to expand everybody’s mind to learn about the wonders of the universe so we become better reporters of and enjoy.

6:00 Speaker 1 So if you have any gut feelings, what are these things? It seems like if they are drones. If they are, it’s far more advanced than anybody who’s.

6:14 Speaker 2 Used to Well, John give the Chinese credit for this, and maybe not for long. They seem to be the leaders in all this drone technology. I mean, you and I can go to any retail store like electronics store and buy ourselves a small drone which has great sophistication.

6:28 Where are most of these made. They’re made in China and other countries in the Far eight. That leads to a lot of great technology, but people are seeing it. I don’t doubt this is that they’re seeing vehicle sized you know, SUV sized roans. I’m saying truthfully that this technology obviously it’s either are our government itself that has

6:47 the advanced technology or countries like China, which has been the leader in this. And again, let’s hope and maybe even pray that we get an answer to what the heck this really is. And I think you’re right President Trump. Well, I think at least calm our nerves down because it takes somebody like him who’s going to leave be on

7:04 lovel with the people. You know, just don’t tell if there’s nothing to worry about, if you’re seeing something flying over your house. I don’t blame people for being anxious, but I do think that there’s answers to this.

7:13 Speaker 1 Steve, Steve Kates, keep your eyes open and text us and let us know anytime you know, and we’ll get down to the bottom of it.

7:24 Speaker 2 You bet, John, Merry Christmas, have you, Hanka, and look forward to a great twenty twenty five with you and the great station. Check us out at WABC radio dot com for the Doctor Sky Experience.

7:34 Speaker 1 Thank you, so much Merry Christmas and
