Automated transcript · uncorrectedSunday morning. Well, we’re calling Texas and with us today is Attorney General Ken Paxton from the Great State of Texas and Attorney General it’s Christmas time only a few days away, and then lui yea’s Zony twelve days away?
Did God save America by making a president Trump president?
Look, I think there’s no doubt. I mean, if we had had four more years of the Biden administration through Kamala Harris, I don’t know if we could have withstand stood that given that’s the problems that we’re having internationally, the problems we’ve had with our economy and inflation, the incredible disaster of the border. I mean, everything they touched
didn’t turn to gold. It turned into a huge problem for our country. And another four years of that momentum, bad momentum is maybe unto so Yes, the fact that we have a president now that will turn that around, turn all of those things around and protect us from our enemies and protect our border and protect our economy.
I mean, it’s a blessing from God. There’s no doubt about it.
I really feel that way. General, give us a progress. What’s going on with the borders. Are people still trying to get in. Are they tearing the walls down? Are they selling the walls? Are they selling the bricks? I tell us on a Sunday morning, what’s going on?
So there’s no doubt that the Biden administration did not want to follow federal law, all of the federal laws ruining the immigration, including the appropriation that was directed to be used to build the wall. They’ve done everything they could to prevent that from happening, including selling off assets.
And we don’t know exactly the details of how they’re selling off those assets. We’re going to have they’re going to have to report by the twenty third of December because we’re in litigation with them. We’ve already had a judge issued injunction back in May that they had to use those money but that were appropriated specifically for the
wall for the wall, and now we’re trying to find out if they’re actually they’re actually selling off pieces of the wall that they shouldn’t to prevent Trump from building the walls. So we’ll know more. As far as the border, I think right now we have less people coming through, but some of the worst people are coming through, and
I just ended up. I’ve talked today to our some of our state ahead of our state police. And he was just telling me how some of the worst people are being snuck through right now and they’re just trying to get him in before before Trump gets into office.
In the border guards, are they doing the right job now because they have confidence that on January twentieth at two o’clock, is it going to be a new sheriff in town.
You know, I don’t know the details of whether our border shore can even function. They’ve not been allowed to function for the last four years. So my presumption is that that is not happening yet. That it will take the change of the administration, the change of the government to allow border patrol to do what they were directed
to do by federal law, which is protect our border as opposed to becoming logistic officers.
The cartels understood, and I understand Arizona. The governor there is right next door to you, is doesn’t want you want who wants the migrants to keep coming.
Well, that’s that’s sad for Arizona. It’s actually sad for the country because those people once they’re in Arizona, they have a lot more ability to access other states. And the fact that she is dismissing federal law and has her own agenda that’s detrimental to her own state. It’s pretty pathetic that that’s the governor of Arizona.
Understood and and tell us what else. It’s Sunday morning, three days before Christmas or four days before Christmas? What are your feeling. Are the people of Texas happy that finally God helped us?
I think it’s overwhelmingly positive. I think even I mean, I think there were a lot of Democrats and people that are typically vote a Democrat that realized that we were on a trajectory that wasn’t good, and that we weren’t safe. We were less safe, we were less prosperous, and we had all kinds of problems that we created
through our through our federal government’s actions. And I think people realize this is not a government that cares about us. And so the fact that there was an overwhelming election that put Donald Trump back into office, I think gives people hope, gives them encouragement, and so I think generally fe people go into Christmas in the new year, they’re
excited about where this country is going, and they have hope that we have a leader that’s gonna it’s going to protect us and make us more prosperous.
Atturning General ten Patchton, I want to say thank you for calling you in this Sunday morning, and thank God for all the good things that are going to happen to your state and our country. And God bless you, God bless America. And may twenty twenty five be the best you our country has ever had.
Well, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and happy New Year to your audience, and thank you for all that you do for this country. God bless
