Speaker 1 Sunday Morning. With us this morning is Michael Watley, and he is the chairman of the Republican National Committee, who won all three houses, the Executive, the Presidency, the Senate, the Congress. Michael Watley tell us about give us an update to the American people. What the heck is going on now? You have a few elections coming up on Tuesday,

and you give us your evaluation.

Speaker 2 Sure, So, I think the biggest thing that we’re tracking right now is the fact that Donald Trump, every single day is delivering on the promises that he made to the American people. You know, you go back to watch this election cycle, he had really four things that he was campaigning on. Number one, we’re going to rebuild the economy.

Number two, we’re going to restore the southern border. Number three, we’re going to keep our community safe. And number four, we’re going to make sure that we’re strong enough to protect our interests and allies around the world. So you look at his admit nominees, you look at the staff that he’s put in place, all of his executive actions,

his press conferences, and everything that’s happening every day. Is his administration is absolutely delivering that obviously has got the Democrats in free fall. Right now.

Speaker 2 We are seeing a party that’s a complete disarray. On the other side of the aisle. They are just reflexively opposing everything that he is for. And when he’s got a seventy five to twenty five issue like eliminating waste, broad abuse or making sure that we’re going to deport violent criminal illegal aliens, they’re on the wrong side of

the issue. So I really love what we’re seeing right now coming out of the White House and the administration. You know, we’ve got a couple of special elections that are coming up this week next week. They’re going to be on Tuesday in Wisconsin and down in Florida. You know, we’ve got two seats in Congress that are going to

replace Matt Gates and Mike walt To who have stepped down. And then in Wisconsin we’re going to have a Supreme Court race there. So you know, what we’re seeing there is that the Democrats are doing everything they can to try and really pull one out in these types of special elections. As you know, they’re very very low turnout

that we have there, they are spending an unbelievable amount of money. Heard this morning, Democrats are spending sixteen million dollars in these two races in Florida, and we fully expect that we’re going to be able to hold on to both of those seats. But what they’re trying to do is change the narrative and talk about anything other

than President Trump and the success we’re seeing in his administration.

Speaker 1 And they are also the other problem we have with the Democrats is they go federal judge shopping to find a way to be President Trump bad by having a federal judge trying to shoot down an executive order, which is not their job.

Speaker 2 Now, it’s absolutely not their job, you know. And when President Trump was in office and during his first term, you know, he moved hundreds of federal judges into positions, including three on the Supreme Court. And you know, what we want out of a judiciary are judges that are going to interpret the law and interpret the constitution, that

they’re not going to try and bend the law and make up rules in order to facilitate their political ideologies. So, you know, not surprisingly for these cases where we’ve got you know, forum shopped judges that are that are trying to overturn the president’s agenda. That we are winning those cases on appeal when they go up to the to

the appellate courts, and we fully expect if any of them have to go up to the Supreme Court, that they’re going to validate what the President is saying. You know, So, I think right now what we really want to see in all of these cases is the American agenda that President Trump ran on, the common sense agenda move forward.

And it’s not surprising that the Democrats are grasping at straws and going to the courts whenever they can. They’re spending an obscene amount of money on these elections right now and gearing up for the mid terms, which are going to be absolutely significant in terms of the President’s agenda for the next two years. After the elections.

Speaker 1 Chairman Wantley, it’s either the Congress has to pass the new law restricting the federal judges that a small a federal judge in San Francisco can’t make a national decision, or the Supreme Court has to make the decision. Somebody has to make the decision.

Speaker 2 Yeah, And right now the situation is we’re going to go up to the appellate courts and then we’ll go to the Supreme Court and the Department an a Justice and the White House councils are doing a very good job of representing the President in those Court of Appeals cases, but it is it is really upside down when you

can have an unelected judge in a situation in a court anywhere in America say we’re going to shut down the president’s will and to think that they’re going to be able to set up operational control over the Pentagon by saying who you can hire and who you can’t, or what has to be done with national security conversations

out of the White House. You know, this is not the role of the judiciary, and I think the American people are viewing that with a lot of skepticism.

Speaker 1 Understood, What else would you like to talk about? How does the future look as far as April second is coming along? And Tierff decision, I guess a big Tierff decision.

Speaker 2 Yeah. Well, the President has been very clear all throughout the campaign and all throughout the last couple of months that he’s been office, America is going to be treated fairly on the world stage. And if countries are going to have tariffs in place against our goods, we’re going to respond. The reciprocal tariffs that are getting ready to

go in effect on the second are so important for that narrative. You know, if France wants to have a huge tariff on American wines, fine, we’ll put a tariff in place on their wine. If the Germans want to put terrible, you know, imposition of tariffs on imported automobiles from the US, fine we’ll go ahead and put tariffs

on their cars coming into the US. So, you know, what we want to do is get to a point where there are no tariffs. We want to make sure that this is a terriff free, free, you know, a fair trade kind of environment. But as long as the world is going to be imposing tariffs on the US,

we need to be able to reciprocate and make sure that our manufacturers are going to be able to compete in the worldview.

Speaker 1 And that’s a smart thing to do. Mister Chairman. We’re got amend it left anything.

Speaker 2 Else, you know. I think a very big, huge success that we had in New York City was our case at the Court of Appeals in New York that said that we will not allow non documented citizens or non citizens to be able to vote in the state and city elections. The city was trying to put eight hundred

thousand non citizens into the polling locations on election day. The North carol or the RNC, along with the New York GOP and a great coalition of partners went to court and we were able to block that and election integrity a huge win for us up in New York.

Speaker 1 And the other big win is the executive order about that you need federal you need ID to vote in federal elections. That’s a big, big.

Speaker 2 Win, absolutely critical. President Trump has said throughout the court twenty twenty four we need to have free and fair elections. A huge part of that is putting sure that every state is going to have voter ID. We also want to make sure that non citizens cannot vote, only American citizens can vote. We need the states to clean up

their voter rules. So at the RNC right now, we are fighting all day, every day to make sure that we have these rules in place as we go into the twenty five races around the country as well as the twenty six midterms.

Speaker 1 Mister Chairman, I got one more for you that nobody’s talking about all the census that depends on what where the Congress is right now they’re counting migrants and illegals. Are they counting migrants, illegals and non citizens? And that goes to its how many Congress people are going to have.

Speaker 2 Yeah, and we need to get that overturned. I mean, it is very common sensical that if people are not allowed to vote in US elections because they’re not citizens, they should not be counted in terms of the apportionment.

Joe Biden put an executive order in place that required that, and we need to take a very hard look at changing the law and making sure that those citizens are not going to be counted when it comes to the apportionment for Congress.

Speaker 1 Absolutely, Mster Chairman Mike Watley, thank you for everything you do for America. God bless you, God bless President Trump. And let’s keep going and bring back America to the power it used to be.

Speaker 2 Excellent. John, thank you so much. I really appreciate you and all your listeners. Thank you.
