Speaker 1 Well, today we have a special lady with us Sunday morning. It’s Paula Scillan.

Speaker 2 Scaling or Scillan Scaling Scaling, and she stands with She’s uh with women’s spokesman and advisor at the Independent Women’s Forum and Independent Woman’s Voice.

Speaker 1 In other words, you want to make sure more women break that glass barrier and get ahead. And Uh, I think they’ve gone ahead much more than ever before. You have a lot of people. Uh. We hire more strong women in our company than any any place before. Now, Paula, tell us what you guys stand for. I know you’re

doing a lot of things in New Jersey, h helping UH get the awareness out. You tell us, yes.

Speaker 3 So now I work for an organization called Early Vote Action. So previously when you’re talking about the women’s issues, I was working on women’s sports, which I used to do because I was teammates with Leah Thomas on the University of Pennsylvania swim team. But now I’m working on getting Republicans writ astert and turning them out in New Jersey.

And we’re doing that with Early Vote Action under Scott Presler. Scott Presler did a wonderful job flipping Pennsylvania getting Pennsylvania read and we’re doing the same in New Jersey this year for the governor’s race in twenty twenty five. And we’ve just been talking to people and everyone’s fed up, everyone’s tired. Nobody wants Democrats to run anything anymore. I

mean they’ve really lost lost it. There’s no more common.

Speaker 2 Sense, there’s a loss of confidence, definitely.

Speaker 3 Yeah. And we’re seeing that across the board in states even like New Jersey when people previously thought I could never go red. We’re seeing people switching their registrations from Democrat to Republican.

Speaker 1 And you have a lot of people working with you, and what do you are you signing up new voters? What do you what do you exactly do? Making phone calls, having meetings with people.

Speaker 3 Absolutely, we are out there in the field registering voters. We’re at county fairs, We’re at gun shows, gun shops, we went to a fly fishing show. Well, yeah, we we have men too, obviously working on this. Scott Pressler is the head of our organization, and so we are looking for all the help we can get. We’re just

again going places where people are and registering voters and talking to people about the issues and asking what they’re what they need and what they’re looking for in a candidate.

Speaker 1 Understood and and are you working? Have you selling up a lot of women, a lot of.

Speaker 3 Yeah, there have been women that have helped this. I think women really are a crucial vote that’s going to happen in New Jersey. And I think we’re starting to see more men come from the Democrat side to the Republican because moms are the ones at the grocery stores seeing these prices. Women are the ones that have to

deal with grocery prices and also have to deal with their kids and what’s going on in the schools. And we’re seeing what’s happening in these schools. People are tired of the crazy ideology that’s being pushed on children, and people are tired of what’s going on in these school districts.

And so women are really activating and realizing that.

Speaker 1 Well, I’m glad young women are getting active active in this. And thank you so much. Paul Scalion scallon Stand Up with Women, and she’s the spokesman an advisor of Independent Women’s Forum. Thank you for coming this Sunday morning.

Speaker 2 Thank you
