Speaker 1 Sunday morning. What is his ed Cox? And he’s the GOP chairman of New York State and also a National Republican recognized name, And Sunday morning, what’s wrong with New York State? Right now?

Speaker 2 What’s wrong with New York States? What’s wrong with their district attorney here in New York City. He’s a sorrow selected DA. While he’s from Harvard, I think he got the work stuff from Harvard. He got the woke stuff which sort of runs around the law school there.

Speaker 1 And he’s a very smart I’ve met him, I’ve had breakfast with him, I’ve seen him at Police Athletic League events. He’s a very smart guy. He’s a Harvard graduate. Why is he doing things like that?

Speaker 2 It’s the problem the indictment of Donald Trump to the indictment of Penny. He is just completely political with respect the Penny. Uh, it’s never should have been indicted. As soon as the crowd started crying, you got indicted, and you got to indict him. He invited him in the same he ran saying he basically that he would invite Trump,

and he went and did it. You cannot be political when you’re a DA. And that’s what he was doing. And furthermore, when he became after being elected DA, he made it clear he wasn’t going to enforce the law in certain cases. Well guess what. That’s where it resulted in the shoplifting and these these raids on stores where

they cleaned the stores out. Uh that you can’t say you’re not going to enforce the.

Speaker 1 Law a matter of respect the rule of law in all the country.

Speaker 2 He does not respect the law. He’s made it into the law here in New York State a joke, and.

Speaker 1 I’m very upset about it, and people in New York. I went to a breakfast on Friday morning with the people that run the liberal side of New York, and everybody I talked to agree with me. They want a quality of life back in New York. So I couldn’t find anything I disagree with them mine.

Speaker 2 John you knew Bob Morganhall.

Speaker 1 I worked for him. I worked for Bob Morganton for forty years.

Speaker 2 He called it like he saw it. He enforced the law now for the last four years. Because the law is not being enforced because we got evolving outdoor justice here, not just thanks to it.

Speaker 1 And I’m disappointed. I’m disappointed in the governor’s office for not doing something about it.

Speaker 2 That’s exactly. It’s not just him, it’s the governor’s office, it’s the legislature, it’s a city council here. They’re all piling on burdens on the police. So the police can’t enforce the law the way they should, can’t make the arrest they should do, and then bragging when they do make her arrest. The rest is going on in the

streets to commit more crimes.

Speaker 1 Well, tox here the gop chamman in New York. Do you have somebody with common sense that you could run?

Speaker 2 You bet she’s already out there. More more marm. She is great. She’s a public defender working for Legal aid for twenty years, tried a number of felony cases, and she knows what she’s doing, and she got to public notice as a real advocate for parents and education.

Speaker 1 Well, I look forward. I look forward to meeting her, and I look forward to bringing her in on maybe the five o’clock show and discussing the law and order and discussing the common sense approach.

Speaker 2 We need law and order here in New York City, and it’s not happening. People know it. In the streets and the statistics from four years ago during Braggs the DA tenure here, crime in every category has gone off well.

Speaker 1 At Cox. Thank you for bringing you to all New Yorker’s attention, and we’ll catch up again real soon, and you’ll bring in that candidate so teach to meet the rest of New York.

Speaker 2 You but we will do that. Johns
