Speaker 1 Sunday morning with us as a Senator Ted Cruz, and so many things are happening in the world. Senator, where should we begin on Sunday morning.

Speaker 2 Well, I’ll tell you the wind of change is in the air in Washington. That there’s the Democrats are walking around in shock. They’re stunned at the election, and the new administration is coming together. We’ve seen some very strong cabinet cabinet nominees. We are going to see an agenda of change, and I’ll tell you what you could expect.

Number One, we will secure the border, and that this is not going to take a year. It’s not going to take six months. It is going to happen in January and February of next year. And the biggest reason for that is is what opened up the border was Joe Biden acting through unilateral executive action to stop building

the wall, to reinstate catch and release, which is a disastrous policy, and to pull out of the remain in Mexico Agreement. I fully expect Donald Trump to reverse all three of those decisions on January twentieth, on his first day back in office. And we’re going to see the numbers of illegal border crossings plummet in January and February.

We are then going to see Congress come in and we are going to pass legislation devoting billions of dollars to funding to secure the border, to keep the border secure, and to end this crisis. That is right at the top of the priority list. And we’re going to see the President Act, We’re going to see the Administration Act,

and we’re going to see Congress Act. Now.

Speaker 2 Then we’re going to get to work on the economy, which is a huge priority, and getting inflation under control. And I’ll tell you a massive driver of inflation has been Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s war on oil and gas and energy. That war on oil and gas will end on January twentieth, and America will once again become

energy dominant, and that is going to lower prices not just at the gas pump, but the grocery store and everywhere else you’re spending money. Energy is a huge part of the costs that the consumers are spending.

Speaker 1 Well, if energy goes down, then food prices go down, and then interest rates will go down too. So you make America great again, exactly right. We’re going to bring the end to the I mean we were at the edge of World War three. I mean so many skirmishers, whether it’s Korea, whether it’s China, whether it’s a Ukraine

or Russia or Israel. I mean, this was a crazy situation.

Speaker 2 It was crazy and dangerous. Look, I very much believe that America is the indispensable nation. And when you have a weak and ineffective commander in chief, the world gets much much more dangerous. Our enemies get stronger, it encourages aggression by our enemies. And Joe Biden has been so incredibly weak that Russia’s more dangerous, Iran is more dangerous,

North Korea’s more dangerous, China’s more dangerous, Venezuela is more dangerous. Every enemy of America has gotten worse. Now, the good news is that is changing. And but when Donald Trump was president, the first time we had peace and prosperity.

We had peace across the globe. In fact, we saw in the Middle East peace breaking out the Abraham Accords, his historic peace treaties between Arabs and Israelis. And we will see again a return to peace because a strong commander in chief, who our enemies are afraid of, that changes the dynamic fundamentally.

Speaker 1 Santa, even my Democratic friends and I had many, many of them. I still have many of them, he says. They couldn’t figure you’re out why we kept the Suez Canal and let them get away with the Suez Canal and the Red Seat except closed for six seven months.

Nobody can figure it out.

Speaker 2 It is. Unfortunately, this administration was incredibly weak. I’ll tell you something you’re going to see in New York also that it’s going to make a real difference. We’re going to see next year with a new Department of Justice, a new Attorney General, and a new director of the FBI.

You are going to see the federal government going after anti semitism on college campuses. You are going to see federal investigation. You’re going to see federal prosecutions, and critically, universities that allow anti Semitic threats and bullying and intimidation of Jewish students are going to have their federal money cut off under Title six of the Federal Civil Rights Laws.

And the difference is going to be stark. So whether it’s Columbia University or NYU, or universities across the country in blue states that have tolerated and encouraged anti Semitism. You’re going to suddenly see what it means to have a Department of Justice enforcing the civil rights laws and protecting Jewish students on campus.

Speaker 1 And Senator one important thing. Are we going to be able to find out who in Washington, because it may not be the President was pressing the buttons to allow criminals and murderers into our country.

Speaker 2 Look, I don’t think it was Joe Biden who was pressing the buttons. A question I have been asked for four years is who is running things in Washington? And the scariest answer, John, is I don’t really know.

Speaker 1 I don’t think anybody knows.

Speaker 2 I think it was Barack Obama, but I can’t prove that that. That is just circumstantial evidence. But I am confident it was not Joe Biden. I don’t think the man can operate a remote control. But whoever was running things, I have never seen so much damage done to this country.

And in fact, I asked you, John, if you sat down with the objective of destroying the United States of America, what policies would you do differently than what they’ve done the last four years?

Speaker 1 They did it all. I mean, I can’t. We were on the egg, senator, We were on the edge of World War three, we were on the edge of getting you know, I started a new saying immigration, yes, invasion no, we are being invaded.

Speaker 2 Amen.

Speaker 1 Thank you, Senator Tews.

Speaker 2 That is going to end.

Speaker 1 Thank you, Senator Crews for everything you do. Let’s bring America back to America the way we me and you grew up. Amen. Amen, thank you so much. Have a great weekend.

Speaker 2 All right, take care, bye bye,
