The Cosmic Bubble Protecting Earth
Transcript
Automated transcript · uncorrectedSunday morning. Well, like every Sunday, we have Steve Kates with us, otherwise known as doctor Sky, And well, what is the truth? What the heck is going on up there? What’s going on in maz what’s going on on the moon? Well, asked doctor Sky. Well, Steve, what’s going on?
Well? John, good morning, Happy Sunday to you and the listeners. Here’s some interesting information. As we move out away from the stars and the Sun and the Solar System, we find out that the Sun, the astronomers are telling us as we go around this big Milky Way galaxy, fourteen million years ago these supernova stars exploded, and five million
years ago our Sun actually wobbled its way into this big giant bubble in space. Now, is that good or bad? Well, apparently, John, it’s a thousand light years wide, and somehow we’re in the middle. And why I’m telling to you in the audience this is that there are no star formations inside that bubble, but they’re plenty on the outside. So it
may be a gift from Heaven because the Earth now and the Sun are shielded by some kind of a big bubble in the galaxy. And that’s very interesting because the astronomers are finding out more. You know, John, the size of the Milky Way is upwards of about two hundred thousand light years. We’re twenty seven thousand light years
from the center. And somehow, well, all these planets keep moving through the sky and through space. But that’s an interesting story that we’re kind of protected by some kind of bubble from other things that might be not so good for the Earth.
Wow, is that is? I guess whoever created all of this? You know, I’m a large believer in the planet Earth is a living entity and that it corrects itself, it fixes itself, it produces, makes stuff through itself, and that’s all I you know.
Yeah, so the Earth, as we both agree, has this incredible power to replenish itself. But that’s interesting, John, because you would imagine all these things that are out in space, you know, high velocity, but the Earth obviously in the Sun and the Solar System, is now well entrenched. Maybe that’s part of an incredible design where you probably will
never know, but it sounds okay for us, don’t you think.
Well, we might not know in our real lifetime, but someday we’ll know better.
John. Over the weekend and people last week, I should say more precisely, we’re looking at the impactor the SpaceX booster rocket that was going to hit the Moon, and I was out among many other people with the massive telescopes looking to see this impact if we could at all.
We didn’t see anything, and apparently nobody on the ground saw anything. But here’s the question. How many probes are now orbiting the Moon? This is an interesting question. According to reliable sources, there are about seven probes that are still orbiting the Moon, and one of them here in Arizona is called a Lunar Reconnaissance orbited that it’s a
little probe about the size of maybe a refrigerator, and it actually image the polo landing sites. For people who believe we never went to the Moon, it shows the footprints, it shows everything. But John, there’s seven of these probes, at least we know of Artemis two. When it went to the Moon earlier this year with the astronauts to
go around it, it launched these two tiny little probes called CubeSats, and they’re hopefully still running around the Moon doing kind of experiments and things of that type. But seven, only seven probes, John, are orbiting the Moon. At least act are fairly accurate. When the Chinese have two, they use those as a relay. That’s how they can communicate
on the far side of the Moon when we’ve never been able to do that. They help send certain signals back to the Earth. And then the Indians have one, the Indian nation, and so to the Koreans. But I’m sure John, there’s going to be plenty more. And that leads up to the great story of the Mystery of
the Week.
And here you’re saying, the Chinese have two, the Indians have one, and who else.
Well, the Chinese have two. Yeah, we have supposedly two of these little cube sets that we launched out.
So we have two, two and one.
Now that’s four. And then we have the Korean called the Dan Dan Urmu that’s going around the Moon, the Indian Chandrayan two, and then our Lunar Reconnaissance orbiter, so we have a total of about seven. Now we can’t confirm those tiny little cube sets they may have already you know, crashed into the Moon. But the reason I
mentioned it, John, and simplicity. One day we’re going to see, just like the Earth, a pluthorri of satellite make about the Moon and hopefully we don’t have any collisions like we have two.
What’s the estimate going around the Earth right now?
John, we’re talking about maybe eighteen thousand satellite and that’s not a specific number. Let me tell you what. Because the Elon launches, he’s got about twelve thousand of these starlings up there. But according to reliable sources, a lot of these probes come back, they burn up, some of his starlings do like they normally, but some have even
estimated that there’s way over thirty thousand of these probes in orbits. NASA NORAD they track them. So in future shows we can hopefully kind of narrow that down and say exactly what is this number because it constantly changes, But it moves on to this mystery of the week that we always talk about finish.
So Elon is still launching them and what is there a room around? How is the service?
Well, let me say this, we have it in a location where we live in other homes, and I can tell you right now, not being a spokesperson for a Starlight, it’s pretty darn good. And now they’re coming out with I understand ways that you can even put one in a little receiver in your backpack and you can take
it out to places. Let’s say you’re camping out in the outback, so John and I can tell you, and I’ve got other good friends of mine have them. They have r v’s, you know, those a little mobile homes, and they’re saying that beside the service, this is actually pretty outstanding. So if he keeps sending those satellites up,
we hopefully will get even better coverage, which is common sense. That is amazing, And I might even think of doing that when we do some of the shows where we have a location in the mountains that we have another home.
That might be a good idea, John, so it can stay connected to the great WABC. But anyway, the mystery of the week really quick. It goes back to the story of the Moon, and the question becomes this, what are the mysteries behind the Artomis three Moon missions. Now, originally NASA was going to have Artemis three John as
the landing on the surface of the Moon in the South Paul, but we have a lot of work to do, so Artemis three got to this. There’ll be four astronauts, three rocket launches, and they’re going to have to actually test in Earth orbit when they do design like Jeff Bezos with the Blue Origin is Lunar Landers, the Blue
Moon SpaceX is Starship lander. These are the probes that are going to actually do the landing on the Moon. So in simplicity, the low Earth orbit, this is the Artem three mission is going to go around the Earth continuously pulling out these space probes, testing them, just like we did when Apollo sent the lunar landers. So they’re
going to be very very busy, and it’s very very important because if you don’t have lunar landers, you’re not going to land on the Moon. So stay tuned for autumis three much more to come John in mid to maybe late twenty twenty seven. And then Autumus four or four goes well, well, I don’t have a date for that,
but that would be a man landing on the Moon in the south foward of the moon.
Gotcha, Well, you know we’re way over time. Anything else you want.
To say, Well, I want to mention John this coming week two big events the Percy had meeting. Your shower happens that peaks on the twelfth, looking the northeast sky after midnight in a dark location and for people in Europe, in Spain, a total solar eclipse on August the twelfth, John, this is amazing. Lots of stuff going on. Always keep
your eyes to the skies and appreciate being with you and the listeners on Sunday morning,
