Speaker 1 Well, it’s Sunday morning with us. This morning is the former speech or Newt Gingridge. I got to tell you, one of the smartest guys I know. Him and Bill Clinton worked very hard for the United States of America and the only people that reduced the deficit went from five and a half triggion down to five triggon. Maybe

they didn’t like each other, but they worked for America. Well, New Gingridge, Sunday morning, forty five days or so for the next election, where do you think we are?

Speaker 2 Well, I think that it’s a very close race, but I think that Trump has all the advantages in terms of who’s not yet decided. And also you’ll notice even Oprah Winfrey is now talking about the fact that Kamala Harris just won’t answer questions. You know, you asked about the economy. She says, you know, I grew up in

a middle class family. Doesn’t tell you anything about her plan fix the economy. And so I think that there’s a whole range of things that are developing. It’s clearer and clearer how radical. Tim Watts is her vice presidential candidate from Minnesota, and I think that both on performance grounds, looking at inflation and other things. I’m looking at the

at the border and the scale of immigration many people. I think eighty percent of the American people won’t change. That’s a number I think from Gallup and so I think that if you’re the vice president, it’s pretty tricky not to be the candidate of the status quo and you’re the real change agent, because the obvious question is,

if you believe all this, why didn’t you do it in the last three and a half years. So I do think despite every effort of the propaganda media, that Trump has the advantage going in the last six weeks of the campaign.

Speaker 1 Yeah. Absolutely, I think people are just, you know, they’re scared about what’s going on. Do you believe that people are finally realizing that we’re under attack in so many directions?

Speaker 2 I think. I do think you have the highest level of concern about the future that we’ve seen probably in my lifetime. And you’ve got, you know of foreign policy problems, you’ve got domestic problems. I just saw a piece on Springfield, Ohio, which the media has tried to make fun of, but the fact is they have about twenty percent of their

population now are people from Haiti who aren’t assimilated. Many of them do not speak English. They they literally don’t understand living in America. And this is not to be anti Haitian. And there were many many very good Haitians who are here earning a good living and who came here in an orderly way. But when you’re a town

of eight thousand and you send me get twenty thousand more people, that’s a really hard thing to deal with.

Speaker 1 And the Middle East, we have one big mess over there. I mean, I still don’t understand. I’ve had a couple of US senators come back and told me, told me one on one that that the Middle East. I guess the major leadership does not trust Washington, DC right now doesn’t trust the White House.

Speaker 2 Well, the Saudies clearly don’t and have actually moved them over towards China as a result. Benet Yahoo and Biden have a terrible relationship. And you know, I watched the other night Kamala Harris explaining in her interview with the Black Journalists, you know that we have to get to a truce and get to hostages back, et cetera. Well,

they’ve been saying that since October seventh of last year, they had eleven months to do it. And you know why they can’t do it. There’s an article that came out this last week where an American official says, every time we’re close to a deal, Hamas changes, and the reason is Hamas doesn’t want a deal. You know, the

Hamas charter is very simple. Not a single Jew will remain. And when they say from the river to the sea, what they mean is wiping out seven or eight million people were forcing them to leave, but not a single Jew will remain. Well, how do you negotiate? What do you say? Well, contend stay? Could it be twenty five?

And the nonsense of our State Department, which has always had this view of somehow quality between the terrorists and the victim, which is just wrong. I mean, we should be on the side of the people who are being killed by Hamas and we should be on the side of destroying Hamas, which are the same thing. In the north.

Now has the lah think further south in him and the Tahuti and behind all of the money from Iran, much of which came from the Obama and Biden administrations who sent billions to Iran.

Speaker 1 We well, you know, because of what President Biden did and made the energy oil business, the animated the people. He ended up making I ran zillionaires again, and he made all of zillionaires, and he gave Russia a lot of money to do whatever they want. And it’s just one big mess, right.

Speaker 2 I mean, it’s really ironic that the President Trump canceled the pipeline from Russia to Western Europe just stopped in his tracks. Obama. Biden comes in and he okays reopening the pipeline from Russia to Europe, and he closes the American pipeline. Now what kind of a mindset cripples American pipelines while helping Russian pipelines. And I think you see

the kind of confusion in every aspect of the Biden Harris administration. And some point I always remember it was Biden Harris. She was in the room. She’s you know, well who are advantage? She always said she was in the room. She was the last person in the room on the Afghanistan decision, which turned out to be a

total disaster. So you have all of these things going on. And by the way, to this day, I do not believe either Biden or Harris has ever called a single gold Star family from the young people who were killed in Afghanistan with their disaster to draw. I mean, think about that. Not a single call to any of the

gold Star families, And it just tells you something about how unconcerned about Americans Biden and Harris are.

Speaker 1 Understood. I you know the other thing, I don’t understand the women of Afghanistan and have become prisoners all over again. Of course, but where is the women’s movements worldwide to object to that?

Speaker 2 Well, you know, that tells you that they’re more liberal than they are idealists. I mean, the fact is the Taliban is back being the Taliban. Nothing’s changed. They believe in a medieval Islamic vision in which women will stay at home, be covered up. They just passed the new law that says you can’t sing in your own house,

you know, and they encourage the children to tell on their parents, which, by the way, is what Tim Wallas did as governor of Minnesota during COVID. He actually set up a hotline so you could call in if one of your neighbors had too many people visiting.

Speaker 1 Oh my god, did he wed he do that? Why does it? Why does his brothers and sisters hate him so much?

Speaker 2 Well, I don’t know that all of them do, but certainly the family at large are Nebraska Republicans, and they think he a socialists and they think that, you know, his policies are a disaster. And I also know that he’s a constant liar. I mean, this guy has lied about virtually every aspect of his life. And it’s it’s

it’s amazing when you were down the list. I mean, it’s not just that that he’s tampon and tim as a president as the best, as the President said recently in one of his rallies. But uh, because he wanted to put tampons in boys bathrooms in middle school.

Speaker 1 Uh.

Speaker 2 But he’s also I mean he’s lied about his National Guard service, he’s lied about being in combat. Uh, he’s exaggerated grotesquely. What he did is as a coach. I mean they have this hat. He winns it’s called coach, and Kamala Harris refers to aim as coach. Well, he was a volunteer coach for the for the defense in

a high school. Uh, he wasn’t the head coach leading a statewide championship. And but you go through every aspect of his life and he just can’t quite come to grips with reality.

Speaker 1 We spoke about the Middle East, what a mess. We spoke about the Congress, the Senate, and you Field, we’re going to take and keep the Senate.

Speaker 2 Yeah, it looks now like we already got into even because we’re going to pick up West Virginia with Mansion retiring and with the governor running, and now the numbers in Montana indicate that we’re going to pick up a seat in Montana, so we’re almost guaranteed to be a fifty one. We have very close races in Pennsylvania. McCormick

is a great candidate, and as that state gets closer, and I think Trump will carry the state and much as the McCormick will carry the state.

Speaker 1 And Larry Hogan in how’s he look.

Speaker 2 Hogan’s running an amazing race and he’s getting endorsed by Democrats. So Hogan is a very real possibility. Bernie Marino in Ohio is in a state that is that, first of all, has the immigration crisis, and places like Springfield has a huge interest in natural gas and cracking and has been increasingly Republican, so Burnie may pick up a seat there.

Brown in Nevada is a little tougher race, but he’s a remarkable candidate. He sacrificed enormously for the country. So as you go around from state to state, you begin to see that there are very real possibilities and that we could end up with the fifty three, fifty four, fifty five seats something like that, which would be a

tremendous break. The challenge is going to be the House, and that’s partly because of money the Democrats have raised such an enormous amount of money. This happened, by the way, in twenty sixteen Hillary outspent Trump by about three to one, and Trump he’s learned media and the force of his issues and one anyway, but you’re going to see I

think the significant effort by the Democrats have just drowned key Republican House members. I’m not sure to work because I think the more people get to know about Harris and Walts, these are just going to be for members to say to their Democratic opponent, so are you really for these things? When you really believe babies should be

allowed to die after they’re born? Has happened to eight babies now in Minnesota under Waltz. Do you really believe that we ought to put tampons in the eighth grade met boys rooms bathrooms. Do you really believe that we had to have open borders. You have a lot of ways here in the closing weeks for the Republican to

put the Democrat on defense, and I hope.

Speaker 1 That I hope that debate goes as well as we’re talking about right now, anything else you want to tell you American people, we have about less than a minute left.

Speaker 2 Sure, I would say, as I almost always say when I talk with you, in the long run, this is the most amazing country in the world. We attract the greatest talent in the world. We are developing things at a level that we will I think break loose and at some point in the next ten teen years pull

away from the rest of the planet, just by the sheer entrepreneurial inventiveness and the questions whether we do it quickly with Trump or we do it very slowly with Harris, because all of her policies will be anti entrepreneur in anti investment. But Trump could lead to a boom on a scale of the rivals.

Speaker 1 Ronald Reagan Newt Gingriggs, former Speaker of the House, thank you for loving America. Thank you for everything you’ve done for America, and thank you for continuing to speak out for America. And we’ll catch up again real soon.
