Automated transcript · uncorrectedSunday morning. What us today is doctor Sky, but his real name is Steve Kates. And Steve, you you really keep us entertained on a Sunday morning by expanding on mind. Tell us this Sunday morning, what do you when you look up in the sky, what are you thinking about?
Well? John, good morning at happy autumn. That occurred or occurs at eight forty four am Sunday at Eastern daylfetime, So welcome to a whole new season. But to answer your question, there’s so many mysteries out there in the cosmos.
But what’s today? If we can look closer in toward the Earth itself, how about this? A major landslide in glacier melting in Greenland back last year in September of twenty twenty three, follows a large tsunami which get a load of this, it rocked the earth John for nine days in an area called the Dixon Fjord, causing something
in geologic terms called a sache. What the heck is that? That’s water which continues to slash back and forth, as if you had water in a bathtub and it’s moving constantly back and forth. Now this normally, if there ever something like this that was going to happen on a mile scale. What’s strange about it. It happened for nine
days straight, rocking the entire planet Earth. So the more we think we know about the Earth, that’s amazing, isn’t it.
That is simply amazing. Now, there were some other articles about how there’s a tremendous fraud going on with some of these what they’re calling on polar bears, et cetera, et cetera. Have you heard anything about that?
No, John, I haven’t heard anything specifically. But I think going back to the point that we’re making here today, these changes that we’re having on the Earth there are just so amazing that people have no idea what’s the cause of this. But let me go on to another one if I may, which is even more bizarre. Out
in the ocean when it’s calm, one of the largest rogue waves in the ocean appeared back in February of twenty twenty. John, this stuff’s almost sounding like it’s science fiction. Of fifty eight foot tall wave came out of nowhere off the coast of British Columbia. Nobody knows how it formed, but roague waves in the ocean that is are such
a great mystery that there’s the only fought to happen maybe every once every thirteen hundred years. But here’s some more evidence. In nineteen ninety five and eighty five foot wave came out of nowhere and hit a drilling platform off Norway. And to make it even more exciting and even a little bit on the dangerous side, the big
passenger ship, the QWE two was actually hit by a ninety five foot rogue wave back in nineteen ninety five in the North Atlantic. So where do these come from? So geologists and earth scientists say this is a theory that winds and currents in the ocean, even though there’s a calmness of the ocean, can create these giant tsunamis
that he used to be thought they were old tales that fishermen told. But isn’t that incredible that we’re hearing all these strange phenomenon on the Earth. We don’t know really why and all this happens. But deep within the earth we’ve talked about it. As you’ve mentioned, the Earth has this amazing healing power. But in this case, I
think we need a lot of healing.
I think the Earth is a living entity and we don’t know enough about it. I mean, I went to the extent that there’s a study going on that if you take a flower and you cut the top of the flower off, that the flower gives out a cry in a frequency that we cannot hear.
Yes, this is true. In a great Apollo astronaut who I was a friend of, and many people were also doctor edgar Mitchell John up with a group that he called this quantum hologram. Now what is that? It sounds so complicated. He belonged to a group called the Noetic Institute, and going to what you just said, he said, the
quantum hologram is that every living thing on the Earth is interconnected to it, and there’s ways that we certainly don’t understand from quantum physies. Just like the flower, if you cut that little leaf or that branch or the pedal, that there’s somehow a feeling to that. So, in other words, deep in the quantum world, we’re all connected. And this
is fascinating stuff. This is just so amazing. But always to keep people’s minds to open, be open and wander and John, we end off with the weird one, the mystery of the week. Here comes a question that really sounds crazy. But what does space actually smell like? Now?
I know people may think I’m way overboard on this, but it’s reality. Nobody really knows. But astronauts on the surface of the Moon in Apollo days when they went back inside the spacecraft and others have confirmed this that they smell that they got after taking these moonwalks was like that of gunpowder or burnt state. Sounds weird. The
wind does all this come from? Don’t believe that the universe, which is not just this vacuum of nothingness. Dying stars may release molecules in space in which our small brains have a perception of maybe picking this up. That’s totally amazing.
So on the surface of the Moon, the astronauts have reported that there was a smell of gunpowder or a sizzling burnt state. All this stuff defies explanation. But what does it do, John? It opens our minds.
It opens up our minds, and I will tell you there’s so much that we don’t know. But I just like I said to you, I believe the Earth is a living being that corrects itself. So if there’s a problem the purpose. People don’t understand hurricanes. The purpose of a hurricane is to bring down the temperature of the
land or the temperature of the water, and that’s the purpose of it. So it’s a self adjusting process over hundreds and thousands of years, and we should respect you, we should do whatever we can do to help it.
But it’s a living being.
John, happy to be with you as we move into autumn twenty twenty four, and we always remind folks learn more at the Doctor Sky Experience proudly on WABC radio dot com. Great information from the realms of astronomy, space, aviation, and weather, as people tell us and interviews John about something equally important, American exceptionalism, truth, justice, and the American Way.
I have a great Sunday and happy Paul
