Speaker 1 Well, Sunday morning, let’s go to New Jersey with us. Today is a Congressman Jeff Ben Drew. One update? What the heck is going on in New Jersey. I mean a lot of things are going on in the country.

Congressman Ben Drew, give us your lowdown of what’s going on in New Jersey, especially with the with the voting, the voting, vote, the votes. Are we going to get down to the bottom of it and make sure we have honest voting in New Jersey.

Speaker 2 Well, that’s what we’re pushing for. You know, I just don’t want to have another discussion and another press conference and another you know what was me The elections aren’t run right. We have to get to the bottom of this.

So I’m going to do everything I can and I know how to do, and there’s must This is multi faceted approach. So, you know, we obviously with the Republican Study Committee, which is an influential group of Republicans, I had seventeen of them going on with me and fall while the which I appreciate, when we gave a series

of questions to the governor, we want to know more. We also individually went through the Judiciary Committee along with the chairman, and I as chair of the Subcommittee on Oversight, and of course JRM Jordan of the chairman of the committee as a whole. Staying to the Lieutenant Governor, who is also the Secretary of State in New Jersey, you’re both, hey,

what’s going on with the software company and what’s the real story? Because the software company said, not our problem. We did everything right and we informed you that these were illegals that were actually voting, and it was the job of the you know, the political the governmental process in New Jersey should have taken care of this, and

it didn’t. We got to make sure that doesn’t happen again. We’ve got to make sure we know the real story. The third piece of this is and I still want to know, and we’re going to keep pushing. And unfortunately, because the way government rolls and the judicial system is and the Department of Justice under any administration doesn’t move

as quickly as you would like, it’s not gonna happen in a day. But you don’t give up. We’re gonna keep pushing to get the real information here. We’ve been pushing on election integrity. You know, when people said I was a xenophobe, and I’m as racist and I was a cony, conspiracy theorist and everything else in the world. No,

we were right, illegals, some of them criminals, were voting in the state of New Jersey. They’re the ones that admitted it. But now the question is how many people didn’t admit it, who didn’t were not citizens and didn’t tell us? Can we find them? How many were there and what happened there? This is going to take a

while to dig through because we’re gonna need cooperation. People have asked me, or are we going to ask for a subpoena on some of this information? It depends. I would love it if we get cooperation. The governor has said she will cooperate. We will find doubt we get cooperation, we’ll keep obtaining what we call production, in other words,

we’ll get more and more production of the important essential paperwork that’s necessary here to find out what’s going on. Bottom Line, we’re not going to forget about it. Bottom Line, I’m still going to have a hearing in my committee that I chair in September. Bottom Line, there’s more to this story. The following It’s going to require a little

bit of patience and a lot of hard work. But you know what I always say, do not give up, be unafraid because you know the truth. The truth. That’s another saying, the truth shall set you free. We want to be free, We want to know, and we don’t want these kind of mistakes again.

Speaker 1 Understood. Now, let me ask you a question. Is anybody in New Jersey refusing to give the authorities the right information about possibly more votes coming in and that would that would Mike vote, So anything that illegal votes?

Speaker 2 Well, that’s why I wanted to have this time with you, because I wanted people to know that we didn’t forget. I didn’t forget. I’m still in it. You’re gonna hear more as we fully go. It’s Sunday now, but we’re gonna be going into next week, and next week we’re gonna be putting more information out there, and we’re gonna

know by then what level of cooperation we are getting and what level of recognition. If there’s a decent level, and we’re moving forward, okay, and we’ll let you know that, and we’re gonna ask all those questions that you want to know and I want to know, John. If there is not, we will keep making requests. We’ll have rolling production,

which means we’ll keep asking for more and more paperwork to be produced, more and more information to be forthcoming, and if it is not, we will certainly let the publics know. I don’t think the governor of New Jersey.

I don’t think she wants this hanging around her. And that’s like an albatro. So I have a sense that she may try to cooperate, but it depends how damning the whole thing is. And you know, they say, this is the extent of it, not a big deal. Of course, it’s a big deal.

Speaker 1 Would cooperate? I mean, this is this is what our country is all about. You know, if I get a letter from the US Attorney’s office and the local or the DA, I cooperate.

Speaker 2 Oh you have to, because you get in trouble. You know, John, you’d be in trouble if you didn’t cooperate. But unfortunately, the way this system is, sometimes people who should be in trouble aren’t. And it’s what frustrates I hear all the time people say, gee, all these bad things went on, like you know in Minneapolis and in other areas where

there was strong and there was corruption and you know, Medicaid money was misspent, and you know, all kinds of things happen and nothing’s happening. Well, first of all, something is happening. There’s been well over one hundred indictments just out there. Second of all, there’s a lot happening everywhere.

But the piece of this is difficult to control. And I don’t know how else to say it, but just to say it. In some cases, we have some very left wing judges that just don’t want to cooperate themselves, and they become political, and they become woke, and whether it’s Latitia James, you know, you can go on through

all the people and our system that aren’t really doing their job. I mean, there are people that ran on becoming an attorney general or a prosecutor by saying they hated Trump, or they hated Republicans, or they hated conservatives.

That’s not what we really need in the legal system. But we have judges and magistrates that are that way. That’s why, by the way, I’m jumping onto another subject. Do you wonder why do we let these people out over and over again that have committed sellings. That’s part of the problem. You know what I believe if you’ve

done some real bad stuff, like I’m gonna tell you, if you’ve murdered somebody, I don’t. In many cases you run.

Speaker 1 I’ll run away to Antarctic if I did that. Well, Congress went Jeff Van Drew from the great state of New Jersey. Please keep New Jersey great, uh, you know uh. And because I want to move here someday. Uh. And thank you for coming on this Sunday morning and we’ll talk again.

Speaker 2 So I appreciate you. Thank you.
