Speaker 1 Sunday morning. Well, every Sunday we call Peter King. Congressman Peter King, former member of Homeland Security, one patriotic American. His dad was a police officer for thirty years in New York. Well, Peter King, looks like New York is in crisis mode on who’s going to become the next mayor give us your opinion, Trum.

Speaker 2 We’ve had tough campaigns in the past where I think there were some bad candidates I like to like Build to Blasio for instance, as an example, but they were always somewhere within the spectrum, somewhere within what his traditional politics in New York. This guy, ma’m donnie is so far to the left. He’s socialists, almost leaning to a communists.

I don’t use that word loosely. The fact is he wants to raise taxes on businesses, which is going to drive jobs and businesses out of New York. He wants to basically we totally weakened the police, defund the cops end up having casework is going out into the subways trying to protect people from crime. I mean, it’s madness

to And also he is bordering on, if not crossed the line into anti Semitism, his pro hamas pro into fighter remarks at a time when New York is facing such a terrible researchence of anti Semitism, this guy would ruin the city of New York. And I say that as someone who was born, raised, educated in New York.

I still work in New York, John, as you know with WABC. To me, this would be devastating. And also so many constituents in there in Suffolk County, they also work in New York, they go in there. So what we have to do is we have to find a candidate who can defeat him. Dommi one because he got

that small base of Democratic voters will voting primaries that is not emblematic of the entire city. What we have to do is we have to bring back moderate Democrats, conservative Democrats, independent voters, Republicans, and people who may be left leaning and liberal leaning, even progressive leaning, but they still want to believe in common sense. We have to

find a candidate. I love Curtis Leewa. I probably agree with his views more than any of the candidates. I do agree with more of his views of any candidate running from Maya. I just don’t think though in this world today that we live in, that Curtis can be elected.

Eric Adams, he did not do a great job, as Maya is less three years over much better, But he is within the world of common sense right now, is given the policemany of the powers they need. He can work with the business community and with the labor community, and obviously, being African American, can sure minorities their rights

are going to be respected. So he’s one person that could get to fifty percent of the vote plus one against Mandami. So I think it’s important we can find a way to everybody get behind them with no reflection all on Curtis. I just don’t think the realities that Curtis could win. I couldn’t win in New York. A

lot of Republicans couldn’t win in New York. But I do think that right now Eric Adams, who I think has learned a lot from his first term, can mobilize the coalition forces he needs to be elected and stop this Mandami from being elected. That would ruin New York City.

Julianni Bloomberg got us out of it. Deblasio sort of pushed us back in the wrong direction. Adams didn’t do great the first couple of years, but he is doing stronger now. We would go back to the nineteen seventies, those horrible days, and you know the Bronx is burning all those toll those.

Speaker 1 I remember those days, Peter, I was there and me and you were both there. Let me say what I said to Eric Adams, and I said to Mayor Adams, I said, damn well, if Albany refused us to help you, because the State Senate has refused to help him, the State Assembly has refused to help them. I said, if

they don’t, if Albany is not helping you, well Washington will help you, Chris. President Trump loves New York and he sent Tom Homan in to clear up all the criminals out of New York. And the criminals are.

Speaker 2 Hiding John, they are as monomigers out of his way to how he’s going to oppose Ice, not to let ICE operate in New York. And he can certainly make it difficult for Ice. And when we are now face with crime caused by many of the illegal migrants coming into this country, what they’ve done. Listen, they’re coming to

the city they received Unfortunately, they were welcomed into the city. Now we realize what a mistake that was that. Listen, we are a nation of immigrants. My grandparents were immigrants. I grew up in an immigrant community. You’re an immigrant yourself, John, We are a nation of immigrants. But it has to be done lawfully. And you can’t have people coming in

in the world of terrorist when we live in today world offence and oil on drugs and other narcotics. Rather, those people don’t want my kids better.

Speaker 1 I don’t want it. I don’t want my kids going in the subways unless the subways are certified safe.

Speaker 2 Now, John, you have a grandchild, which he even makes you more those which old the grandchildren are very fearful. World happened to New York. I tell you that he would tie the hands to the cops. He would prevent ice from bruning out the criminals, criminal immigrants in this city, which of course such problems. He would drive business and

jobs out. Congressmen, King, people will be hurt the worst.

Speaker 1 Congressman King, thank you for everything you’ve done in the past and continue to speak out for New York and God bless you and God bless mer.

Speaker 2 Thank you. John
