Speaker 1 Sunday Morning with us. This KT Muffallen a good friend, real smart lady. She served our government in so many different ways. Her Alasta position was Deputy National Security Advisor under President Trump and k T. We got such a mess all over the world. Give a Sunday morning, give us an update on Iran and Israel. There’s so many

stories going around. Tell us where we are.

Speaker 2 Well. First of all, we President Trump inherited a lot of messas around the world, and he’s one at a time fixing those messes. With regard to Iran, Iran is now in a completely isolated position Israel because of Israel’s bombing attacks. Is destroyed, Hesblah destroyed, Humas destroyed, the hutis destroyed.

The Syrian air defense system that was supposed to protect Iran from any kind of attack. So to the point where Iran is now defenseless in the reach and it cannot control its airspace, so drones can come in, bombers can come in, as we’ve just seen, missiles can come in.

Iran as defenseless. In addition to that around its isolated globally because Iran’s two friends, China and Russia did not come to Iran’s aid and then when President Trump did the most extraordinary attack on to decimate to obliterate Iran’s nuclear weapons. You know, every president going back for like the last five presidents is that Iran can’t have nuclear weapons,

but they never did anything about it. And now President Trump that really at the eleventh hour obliterated Iran’s military capability. So Iran is now isolated and the next step is up to Iran. What do they want to do. So they want to double down and maybe try to rebuild their nuclear system, Well good luck with that, because we

know exactly what they’re doing where they are, and we’ll just bomb it again. If they want to rejoin the World Community of Nations, recognize this eral’s right to exist, give up their nuclear center uses in program, President Trump has said, we’ll welcome you into the Community of Nations.

So whatever Iran wants to do is up to Iran.

Speaker 1 President Trump has done a phenomenal job and trying to balance it. You know, the all the people that used to call him a warm he’s not a warmonger, He’s a piece He’s a a peacemaker. I mean, I just don’t understand people sometimes.

Speaker 2 You know, I’ve been with him in the first Trump term. We were sitting around the table in the situation room, and the situation room is like a great, big dining room with a big, big oval table. President says that they had and around the table or Secretary of State, Defense, Attorney General, head of the Joint chiefs of Staff, et cetera.

And when I was with President Trump, he was trying to make a decision to do it. Does he bomb the Syrian airfields and stop the chemical weapons attacks? He would go around to each of the people at the table, what is the situation, you know, what is a diplomatic situation, what’s the likelihood of military success? What could go wrong?

What could really go wrong? And he would try to minimize the risk. He knew there would be a risk to any decision he would take, but the risk would be so minimized. And once it had gotten completely minimized to them as much as it could be minimized, that’s when he would take the move because he knows that

there’s a risk of doing nothing. And that’s why I think he did ir He did it just with phenomenal success, and the world has just gone, wow, look what America is capable of doing. You know, we’ve always known we could do great things. We kind of forgot about it for the last twenty years. But what this demonstrated to

the world is like, nobody could do this like we did it, and no leader would have that kind of leadership and decisiveness that President Trump had. So to me is not just what happened in the Middle East, is what happened in the world. The world is now looking and say, whoa America really is the one superpower in

the world.

Speaker 1 And I think NATO, I think NATO is recognizing that if it’s not for Trump there in deep douzus themselves.

Speaker 2 Oh completely, And that’s why. You know. It’s at the beginning of Trump’s first term and I met with my German counterpart and said that President Trump expects you to put two percent of your GMP first fence. And the man told me, oh, that’s unrealistic and naive. You don’t understand what And of course President Trump badgered them to

the point where they did. Now fast forward eight years later, the NATO allies are tricking over each other to be have a sealthie with President Trump. They’re tricking over each other to say, no, no, what five percent of GMP present defense. That’s what we want to do. So I think he’s turned the corner there. One thing that struck

me down in the last forty eight hours is President Trump has said we have a trade deal with China, and China’s signed it. I think that what China did was it saw what we were capable of doing with Iran, saw that Trump was not to be messed with. I think that’s the reason that they were very eager to

come to the negotiating table on a trade deal so completely unrelated, but in recognition of the United State, say it’s some President Trump’s power.

Speaker 1 Agreed one hundred percent. KT. Thank you for coming on this Sunday morning and giving the American people an update and and let’s catch up again real soon. I’ll see you at Lolly’s party next week.

Speaker 2 I see at Lolly’s party next week. Thank you, John. I look forward to it.
