Speaker 1 Sunday morning. What is his, Senator John corn from the great state of Texas, who’s right on the Mexican border. Well, John, Senator, how is it going? I mean, I talked to Tom Homan all the time and he says things are good on the southern border. But you’re the senator, you.

Speaker 2 Tell us, Yeah, Tom’s right, and Tom’s doing a great job and enforcing the law. And you know, President Trump ran on this, and this is one of the main reasons he got elected on November of the fifth, And true to his word, the border numbers are down dramatically, and we finally re established de terrence. And of course,

what I mean by that is not people aren’t making the trip in the first place, at great expense and great risk, because they know they’re likely to be unsuccessful. We you know, we are a country that believes in legal immigrats, but illegal immigration has been a disaster because as we’ve seen a lot of criminals, people who in

the case of the Middle East, we’ve seen a number of Iranians make their way across the border or who knows what purposes. But President Trump has kept this promise. The border is increasingly secure, and that’s really important. To Texans and to the nation.

Speaker 1 Now, Senator, I mean, you’re a great American, you’re in Texas. Why we did the Biden administration I could have I could have I could think of them bringing in migrants, But why did they bring in the criminals.

Speaker 2 Yeah, they just didn’t have any controls at all, and they made no distinction between hard working people who wanted an opportunity. You know, the reason immigrants have always come to America. They made no distinction between them and the criminals, the rapists, the murderers, the human traffickers, the drug runners.

And it’s been an unmitigated disaster. I know in New York, just as in the rest of the country. Sentinel or the synthetic opioid drug that’s been imported exported now by the cartels into the country has been the cause of a lot of human misery and a lot of deaths.

It’s really bewildering to me why Biden would take this position, except if you think about his political goal, which may have been to let as many people into the country, then somehow get them legalized and then maybe get them registered to vote in the Democratic Party. I can’t really imagine what other scenario he must have been thinking of

because it seems so terribly wrong.

Speaker 1 I agree with you anything else on a Sunday morning. You want to tell the American.

Speaker 2 People, Well, I’m very proud of President Trump’s decision to finally stop Iran from developing their nuclear weapons. It’s you know, to me, this is an existential threat because if Iran were allowed to get a nuclear weapon, then Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Immirates, Jordan maybe perhaps, and others would want to get a nuclear weapons just to defend themselves.

So kudos to President Trump are having the courage to do something that many presidents have talked about, but he finally got the job done.

Speaker 1 See. I don’t mind Saudi Arabia getting it, but the problem is I don’t want I don’t want Iran to be giving it away. You know, those those sixteen trucks that moved away with product. I hope it doesn’t go to Hamas or Hesbala or Hoodi’s or Afghanistan. That’s the part I’m worried about.

Speaker 2 Yeah, I think that’s a legitimate concern. I’m sure the Israelis have shown credible trade craft and uh and combating those Iranian proxies, as you know, and then taking out the leadership in the in the Revolutionary Guard and the military UH and their intelligence apparatus. UH. I’m sure the Israelis are on top of it, and I’m confident that

we are working with them and basically sharing that important intel. So, but you’re right, that’s UH that we need to get that under lock and key and to get rid of it in order to eliminate the threat.

Speaker 1 Senator John Corn from the Great State of Texas, thank you so much for coming in. Congratulations on getting to build done on over before the weekend, and it’s moving on to the to the United States Congress, and I hope we get it done by fourth of July.

Speaker 2 Thanks Gatz.
