Speaker 1 With us this morning is Congressman Peter King, and he’s been in Congress for a long time. Member to Homeland Security and Congressman King, I’m worried about our country if we don’t get the right president on November fifth, give us your analysis of what happened on the other night with Kamala Harris on her interview on Fox.

Speaker 2 John First, first of all, thanks having me on, and let me just say, trying to be as subjective as I can, I thought it was a disaster for Kamala Harris. Listen, every politician, when you caught you try to finesse the question of it. But she would just filibus at every question, refused thee of answers, refuse to explain why the Bide

administration went millions and millions of illegal immigrants into the country for the first three and a half years, and then she wouldn’t even tell how many immigrants, how many illegal immigrants, events of the country, Jacks, if that was all beyond hers had nothing you could do with it.

On the one hand, she’s basically saying they have a good record. On the other hand, she couldn’t defend it. Was questioned after question on basic questions about crime, about transgender surgery, and again about border control. And when she talks about, for instance, howity border patrol agents supported her legislation, but then she couldn’t answer, if that’s the case, why

are they opposing you? Why are they saying that you’re been a disaster on the issue of illegal immigration. I thought Brett Bhaer had a tough job to do it because he is the vice president and he couldn’t constantly be interrupting her. But the only way to get her to answer it was interrupted sometime. Otherwise, every answer she

gave it was an attack on Donald Trump. No matter what the issue was, she attacked Trump. So I thought that the debate showed the American people how vacuous and empty Kamala Harris really is. And I give Brett Baer credit for staying on target, staying focused, and not falling into the trappers getting into an argument with her. So

then she would claim that she was being harassed because she was a woman.

Speaker 1 He did, Brett bahar Ye did stay calm, and he was very you know, and she I guess she answered the questions she want to answer, not necessarily the questions she was asked. I think it’s he we got how many days to the election? We have sixteen days of the election Sunday morning this morning, and I guess the

American people are going to have to make a decision in the next sixteen days.

Speaker 2 Last night, her goal was to win over any independent voters or caused any Republicans to switch to her, as she failed because all she did was attacked Trump. People who hate Trump are already going to vote against him, and all she did was build up that base. But that doesn’t give her any extra votes. If she wanted

to appeal to independent people who may not be crazy about Trump or why don’t see what how alternatives are? Didn’t provide them. Showed absolutely nothing as well as leadership new policies other than to say she’s not Joe Biden.

But she didn’t say really out is not Joe Biden. And she refused to really be critical of anything that their administration did, even though right now almost eighty percent of the American people saying we’re going in the wrong direction.

So if we’re going in the wrong direction and she’s part of the administration that did that, she should be showing some difference out He’s going to be different and she couldn’t do.

Speaker 1 It, understood, And all right, then let’s move on back to New York, New York.

Speaker 2 You know you will.

Speaker 1 I live in Manhattan, I live in Suffolk County on weekends, and you live in Nashau County. The crime, the Venezuelan gangs, it’s certainly starting to get out of control.

Speaker 2 It is John. And even though I live in Astra County, I grew up in Queen’s with Porta, Manhattan, and went to a high school and college in Brooklyn, Damy committed New Yorker. And to see what’s happening. We’ve always had, at various times some crime issues, certainly in the seventies and eighties, but it was never as widespread as it

is now. And to see what’s going on in, for instance, in Times Square, he’s done those well, and gangs have taken over and somehow it seems have nothing can be done about it. And we think of how things have changed in the Giuliani and Bloomberg, how dates the city have become, what a great job the NABD was doing,

and now the fact that these gangs can pretty much run wild. It’s a combination of the federal government allowing you in the country to begin with, and somehow the city you are most welcoming these people, treating them in many ways better than they treat a long time New York as an American citizens. And if they don’t get

that gangage run control, nothing is going to do more to scared storists away. This scar shop is away. We have the Christmas season coming up, with the shopping and I’m going to how many people really want to bring their young kids into into Times Square, into manhat inter Fifth Avenue to see what’s to see what the beauty

of Christmas and the holidays, and with the fear that you can be attacked any moment by venezuel and gangs. And these aren’t scared tactics. These are And that’s the reality.

Speaker 1 The theater district is there, and I guess the theater district people don’t want to speak out, they don’t want to scare away people. But the gangs will live in some of those hotels. I understand one hundred and fifty seven hotels in our city are are are the migrants.

Speaker 2 That’s a lot, it really is, especially when you consider how many veterans are homeless and how many long time New Yorkers might be homemost having a tough time making ends meet, and you have these hotels, high rent hotels, and they have these illegal immigrants there. And again among those illegal immigrants are these gang members. These are coordinating

gang efforts going on here in New York and the fact that they’re attacking people where they are, it’s absolutely disgraceful. I mean just thinking we had Julianni or Bloomberg back, this wouldn’t last more than two minutes.

Speaker 1 Understand, And it’s just tragic. And I had a Chief Shell on the other day and I said to him, we got to clean up the streets. And I understand certain crimes are down, but it’s still people feel uncomfortable walking around.

Speaker 2 Well they do, and it’s not just perception, it’s reality. And yeah, you come to crime numbers anywhere you want, but when you see in some of the most important areas of the city, again, take time square, take the Data District, take Drift Avenue, and also then even go back to you know, the subway stations wherever the crime

is out of control, which never family crime at all. Realities, you’re always going to have some of it, unfortunately, but you have to keep it under control and let people feel safe so that crime becomes the under becomes, you know, the rare occasion not to have these stories that you read about day in and day out of innocent people

being attacked. And in the past, all of the crime was criminals against criminals. Now it’s criminals against innocent, law abiding good New York is, good tourists, good people, good Americans.

Speaker 1 Congress Beran King sixteen days ago, pray for New York, Pray for America. And thank you so much for coming you on this Sunday morning.

Speaker 2 Thank you, Johans always your privilege. Thank you, thank you,
