Speaker 1 Sunday Morning with us is Ryan Payne, president of Pain Capital Management, one smart guy, and I’m gonna ask him the question. Ryan, it’s fifteen days in the election. If President Trump wins, what happens to the markets? If if Piris wins and becomes President Harris, what happens to the markets? Ryan?

What say you? Well?

Speaker 2 I think, first off, I think you know, Trump is definitely more pro growth, right, There’s there’s no way getting around it. He wants to keep the tax corporate tax rates low, and you know, at the bottom line is he really wants to get rid of regulation, which I think has been a big, big problem for big companies

right now dealing with all the regulatory environments that we’ve had. So I think growth has been relatively strong, but imagine if we kick the handcuffs off corporate America. I think you can see growth rates pick up even more from here, really accelerate. So I would say a booming economy one hundred percent if we get a Trump presidency.

Speaker 1 Understood, And you would say, what would happen to the markets, the stock market, the interest rate markets, et cetera.

Speaker 2 Well, I think if Trump gets his drill, baby drill, you know, proposals passed through where we’re actually drilling more oil. I mean, that’s very very disinflation area, right and that kind of disinflation would be huge for the American public right now because the biggest problem last couple of years has been inflation, whether it’s energy prices, going to the

grocery store, you john, and housing on affordabilities are big one which are probably the most important to Americans. So if you can lower the cost of oil, you know, get it down to and I know you think it could be somewhere in the around fifty to fifty five dollars a barrel. I mean, that has a huge impact

on the US consumer. It’s basically like giving everyone a tax break. And I think that’s huge because you know, one problem with the Harrison administration is they love the curtailm we’re producing. And let’s face that energy needs a’re only going to go up exponentially over the next couple of years, which could be extremely inflationary. And the entire

interest rates we’re already seeing the ten year treasury trade about four percent. Again, we know mortgage rates are still around six and a half percent. So oil really feeds into every kind of inflation out there. So arguably, if you could bring down that cost, and we’re the large producer of oil in the world, if we can keep

producing at a faster rate, you know, that’s a huge, huge positive impact in the American economy.

Speaker 1 So if oil goes down, food prices will follow, because the food industry uses diesel, food prices will go down. And if food prices go down and oil goes down, then inflation goes down. And does that mean interest rates go down too?

Speaker 2 Yeah, No, it’s exactly right. And you have the said cutting short term interest rates. So you know, overall, you have what we would call easy monetary and fiscal policy, and you’ve got solid growth. Right, you already know we’re getting solid growth out of yost economy and profit cycles going up. And again if you get rid of some

that regulation, it’s pretty much what you would call goldilocks. Right, that’s like the best case scenario you can possibly have, and we have a lot of control oil prices, as you know understood.

Speaker 1 Anything else you want to tell the American people, Ryan, I.

Speaker 2 Would say this, don’t wait to invest your portfolio. I think pro growth Trump policies are better. But the bottom line is overall the American economy is growing. You’re starting to see wages grow over inflation, profits are going up, and markets they love certainty. So no matter who gets into office come November fifth or after November fifth, markets

tend to go up just because you have certainty. So I wouldn’t wait to make a move on your investment portfolio. Be proactive here, John, don’t be reactive.

Speaker 1 Ryan Pain, thank you so much for coming on this Sunday morning, and we’ll catch up again real soon.

Speaker 2 Great John, thank you have great there
