Speaker 1 Well Sunday Morning with us is John Fund. He’s a columnist for National Review magazine, and one of his expertises that I found was to keep track of illegal voting, bad voting Well, John Fund Sunday Morning. The Trump campaign says they got thousands and thousands of lawyers watching all the polls. Give us your analysis.

Speaker 2 Well, they’re doing a much better job than they did in twenty twenty. But watching the polls isn’t the most important thing, because if you watch the polls, it doesn’t mean that you can stop someone who shouldn’t be voting.

It does mean that you can alert lawyers who can go and get seek court relief. The more important thing that the Trump lawyers are going to have to do is make sure that the mail in ballot procedures are followed.

Forty percent of people are going to be mailing voting by mail health and we’re preparing for any recounts in any close state. If any state is within one percent between the two candidates, there will be a recount. So, yes, they do have poll watchers, but pole watchers can only do so much, and what they really are is an

early warning system for the lawyers to go to court.

Speaker 1 Understood, And what else concerns you about Election Day fifteen? Fifteen days now sixteen.

Speaker 2 What concerns me is that a media conglomeration that used to get Pulitzer prizes for uncovering voter fraud in places like Chicago and Detroit and Cleveland has decided to follow the liberal left line and claim there is no voter fraud, it doesn’t exist, or it’s vanishingly small. That’s preposterous. We know while polls tell us that two thirds of Americans

believe that voter fraud is going to be a serious problem, including twenty three percent of Democrats. So they’re just pretending that a problem doesn’t exist, which means if their complaints about it, they’ll say it’s all fiction. Look, Donald Trump has exaggerated some things about voter fraud, and he shouldn’t have done that, but that doesn’t mean that illegal votes

vote registrations exist. Governor Youngkin in Virginia has found six thousand of them. What’s the Biden Harris Justice Department doing? It’s suing him to keep those non citizens of the voter roles. Why what possible excuses there to keep people we know are non citizens on the roles? So what I worry about is a media democratic alliance in which

they claim that, you know, what’s the famous phrase, are you going to believe me? Or your lying eyes? And that’s what I worry about, that they’ll pretend that there are no problems when in America we have cities like Philadelphia and Detroit and Chicago that have decades of history of voter fraud. We know what happens there. We just

have to make sure to limit it. And the media which used to cover it is no longer covering it.

Speaker 1 John fun that is serious. Problems in mail in ballots? Isn’t that more serious?

Speaker 2 Well, because it’s so much bigger than it used to be. Look, the great thing about voting in person or voting app a voting absentee at a government office building we call that early voting, is you’re doing it under the supervision of government officials. There’s only so much you can do with the ballot. With mail in ballots, you can steal

different people’s mailboxes. You can pick them up from apartment store, apartment lobby tables if they if they’ve been delivered but the person there is moved, you can go door to door and collect them. That’s called ballot harvesting. There are a lot of miss There’s a lot of mischief that can happen, including coercion. A wife can be coerced by

their husband to vote a certain way. A labor union can converse its members. A businessman can course his employees with mail in ballots. You have all of those uncertainties and none of the ballot secure you have when you cast to vote under government supervision.

Speaker 1 John fun thank you. Keep your eyes open and let’s talk. We got fifteen days to go. Let’s talk again within those fifteen days.

Speaker 2 Thank you. John
