Speaker 1 What is this Sunday morning is Pearlstone. He’s one smart guy and financial wizard and he works with the Colonial Metals Group in our country. And Paul Stone we’re in. It looks like our country is going well. It looks like it’s going well forward. There’s a lot of optimism. But the markets have been topsy turvy upside downside the metals markets,

gold was was was going up like no tomorrow, bitcoins. I don’t know anymore. Give us your your your gut feeling, what the heck is going on in our country?

Speaker 2 Well, thank you John for having me again. It’s an honor to be here with you. You know, to me, a lay person that describes himself as taking a farmer’s approach to economic if you will, I’m not a trained economist or a financial advisor, sees things in the way that a lot of excitement came in, enthusiasm came in,

the optimism trade perhaps came into the markets starting back in November. And now maybe the world’s holding its breath because one thing that is, you know, you could say defines Donald Trump is he’s courageously going off into areas others weren’t willing to. And I think people might be wondering how that’s going to turn out. Knowing it’s not

a monarchy. He can’t just install these wonderful ideas that he in doge and as others in his administration have. He needs others that have always been a part of the resistance to cooperate with him. And what could the retaliations be from China if you consider, perhaps, and I’ll end with this, if he starts to make moves to

make America great again and get the tables tilted back in our favor, if you will, from unfairness that we’ve been suffering from decades, from the policy tis that led before him by putting tariffs on China in March of twenty eighteen. Is it okay to consider that China puts COVID on America December of twenty nineteen, because that’s the

perfect way to stop Donald Trump’s momentum. And they’ve been researching this. They have pentagons in their own country that research all the scenarios and what their actions and reactions should be. And to me, SARS and all of those other preambles precursors to COVID was the research letting them know.

Speaker 3 Eventually they got COVID.

Speaker 1 Right, I understood. I guess there’s many ways of to dictate war. There’s economic wars, absolutely, There’s wars that you shoot with missiles. Right. The good news is I read to have economic wars that we can work out.

Speaker 3 Agreed. Nobody’s in the ground.

Speaker 1 No bodies in the ground. What do you you know there’s gonna be a world confrontation when it comes to the word oil. Absolutely. President Trump has said, drilled baby, drill right, and create enough oil in North America to make it neutral. Are we being able to self sustain the I guess the Russia and Open nations rather have more money in their pockets.

Where does that take us? And where does that take the price of gold?

Speaker 3 Here’s the consideration and good question to questions.

Speaker 2 Really, so, from what I’ve read and studied, the oil industry likes eighty five dollars a barrel oil.

Speaker 1 The producers that created rice.

Speaker 3 That’s where they like it to be. That’s where Saudy likes it.

Speaker 2 Everyone’s trying to, you know, push and pull, so you end up with eighty five dollars.

Speaker 3 Barrel of oil.

Speaker 2 If we flood the market with oil, then the price would come down, and that is driven by hoping. If we cheat in oil, we cheapen inflation, even though we really wouldn’t be fixing what causes inflation. If eggs getting to the supermarket costs less because diesel costs less, and farming the corn, the price of diesel was down, so

farming corn than corn at the supermarket is less. If we can lower the price of oil, we can lower the appearance of inflation. But that’s what I mean when I say he’s not living in a monarchy. Can’t just order that and make it so. You have to have the cooperation from others that say we don’t like to

burn through our oil faster because it’s limited at a lower price point. We’d rather sell it for as long as we can slower at a higher price point. And that’s what I mean by difficulties. When we talk about gold going higher, Gold almost touched twenty eight hundred before the election. It dipped into the twenty six hundreds after

election was the results were in and Trump was the victor, And now we see gold back touching almost at three thousand. That is telling you, look, gold is the defensive position. If it’s becoming more and more popular and higher and higher priced. It’s confirming for you that more people are seeing reasons to fear substantial risks, blowing up their plans

for how they thought things were going to go well. Because gold is the defensive position. It isn’t in a database, it can’t be hacked. It’s physical.

Speaker 1 Yes, it is physical, and a President Trump has said, I want to double check and make sure a foot Knoxa has the gold in it. Yeah, what’s your gut feeling, I.

Speaker 3 Think it’s there.

Speaker 2 I don’t see a reason why the government would ever make the noise of liquidating it in the seventies of the eighties, there’s never And here’s the deal. I think it became apparent to everyone finally, very clearly when George hw said, read my lips, no new taxes found its way into a recession in an election year, raised taxes

to combat the recession’s pullback on federal finances, and then welcome Bill Clinton. Everyone became aware, don’t raise taxes, just print the money. Look at the gift Nixon gave us. We don’t don’t ever have to raise taxes, just print money. Now, states can’t print money, so they keep jamming New Yorkers, for example, with more and more and ridiculous obtrusive taxes.

But the federal government can print and they trust them.

Speaker 1 You know, you print another trig in a boy, somebody buying it, right. Uh. And what the problem was in the previous administration, Joe Biden administration confidence in Washington? Right? Uh? Do you believe? Because I believe there’s more confidence in Washington now and it was the previous four years.

Speaker 3 Yeah, I think you went from zero confidence to a lot. So it’s it’s a night and day change.

Speaker 2 What we want from that is that Donald Trump, Doge and everyone who’s signed on for the Trump administration.

Speaker 3 To literally break the ruts.

Speaker 2 These mindset has, this mindset has lived in for decades that they don’t work for us.

Speaker 3 If he can bring them to.

Speaker 2 Heal that everyone in that city, some way or another works for American people, then the government can start to take a better approach to how it deals with what we need from that centralized power.

Speaker 1 So, Paulstone, confidence in the economy right now?

Speaker 3 I think it’s shaky now.

Speaker 2 I think what’s tough for us is we may have caught this financial wind Nixon created and we’re doing well in life or better than many.

Speaker 3 Others are doing.

Speaker 2 But when you look at seventy percent of the country saying life here is very difficult. In the exit polls from the election, we need to do a radio show where where they’re the ones hosting and speaking, and we’ll find out what is the economy like for them, because I think there’s two economies in this country.

Speaker 1 Well, Paul Stone, thank you so much for coming in on talking on Sunday morning, and good luck and I thank you. I hope you have a lot of inventory and goals because that’s feeling you going to glow.

Speaker 3 Up and I think at one point the world could run out of it.

Speaker 1 God bless you, God bless them her.

Speaker 3 Thank you. John
