Speaker 1 Who is back with us. We got Peter Navarro back with us, and he is one more guy when he’s the President’s chief advisor on on commerce. Well, Peter Navarro, we had a great talk on Thursday. Now it’s Sunday. Uh, what what is the big picture of what’s going on with China? The President wants to double their the tariffs.

Canada they want to work on something. You know, the Canadians are like our brothers. I mean they’re they’re part of North America. Uh. And so give us your analysis first maybe on China and fetnah.

Speaker 2 Absolutely giant. Just some people understand what I do here. I just follow the boss’s lead. I’m blessed working with three other guys on the trade team. Howard Lattoni segregary Commerce takes point. We got Jamison, who was Bob Liteheiser’s second in command in the first term. He’s the US trade representative. And then then we got Kevin Hassett, the

Nationally Genhama Council director. Now here’s the problem. I want to do a little fentanyl one oh one. It’s okay. It’s carnage, Johnny Cats, It’s absolute carnage. I was suspected everybody listening to this show has had some direct or indirect connection with somebody who lost their life to fentanyl, and we lose the President thinks this as many as

three hundred thousand Americans a year. And here’s why it’s like, this is the scary part. I want everybody to understand this because everybody listening could die from fentanyl. Here’s how. It’s not just the drug addicts who get addicted to the fentanyl itself. Because ventanyl is both highly potent and low cost. The drug cartels use it for spike win,

they use it to sprike cocaine, they use it to spite methane fediment, and it’s a way of building addiction. Now that’s not the only problem. You might think, well, I’ll never touch that stuff. But what you do touch sometimes if you get hurt, maybe oxy cotone or xanix and both of those. For example, when when countries, particularly

Communist China, may counterfeit oxy cote and there’s xanax and they sell it online and people buy it because it’s cheaper than at the drug store, there’s a very high possibility it’s a counterfeit. And by the way, fentanyl can be part of that and you can die like one spec one spec of that can kill you. So here’s

the problem. It’s like this stuff starts in China, Johnny Cats. It starts in China and big fifty gallon barrels of precursor chemicals. It comes all over to the boats. The Mexican drug cartels process it the way I told you they make vanol, and then they spike all these other drugs.

And then they said it across our borders, both through the southern border directly and then around through Canada. And the problem we’ve had is that we’re now over thirty days into the original tariffs and China, Canada, and Mexico simply aren’t doing enough on this issue, according to the President.

And I can tell you, Johnny, if China wanted to stop this, it could do it in about twenty four hours, because it would stop the fountain head of it is the poisoned food of the tree, the chemicals that come from from China. But they don’t and here we are, so we’ll have terrafts now.

Speaker 1 I mean, China could knock it off, I agree with you, in twenty four hours. And they’re killing two three hundred Americans a day. That’s like a that’s like, let’s have an example, nice like a seven thirty seven going down every day, yes, yeah, and they’re not doing anything.

Speaker 2 And a super Bowl full of people every year time is about four. So I mean, it’s just like I say, Jihnny, it’s like everybody’s been affected in some way. I mean, everybody knows they might have lost their own son or daughter, but if not, they know somebody who did. And it’s been particularly harmful in the areas, ironically where we’ve been

hit the hardest by the unfair trade. You know, these blue collar people lose their jobs, they fall in into alcoholism and drug abuse. And I’ve seen his first hand. And one of the big reasons why President Trump won the election is because the people in the cross or the so called rust belt, understand that he has their back.

Just spendel thing, Johnny. I mean, it’s it’s it’s a fifty nation, uh fifty state problem, and we’ve got to fix this. And I just I mean, Canada, Mexico and China hold the key to fixing it, and the President is holding the accountable and the American people are going to support this usually once they understand that they are

themselves at risk. I mean, Zanash can you imagine this, Johnny? Why they put Vano Lake Xanas? Well, it’s it’s yeah, it’s crazy, Peter.

Speaker 1 Canada, there are brothers, They’re part of North America. And we can’t we can’t punish all the Canadian people for some of the stupidities that tradell government has. What can we do to put together the next the next prime ministers and the next people in charge of Canada to do some common sense solutions.

Speaker 2 Well, all what you do is the president is doing is exert the appropriate amount of pressure and the Canadians. I mean, if I’m if I’m a Canadian politician, what’s my response. Am I going to go, Oh, you Americans?

You can’t tell us what to do? Or are you can say? Look, yeah, people are dying. We got to help stop that here? How can we help? And you know that’s that’s the issue. I mean, there’s other issues related to the tariffs. In terms of the border invasion.

I mean, Canada has had a particularly lax DECA policy and it’s become a entry point for terrorists on the watch list. They come in through Canada, that’s kind of how they get in. And we’ve got a lot of issues there. You know, Mexico, the border invasion is sheer numbers Canada. A lot of the border problem is more

focused on really dangerous people coming in. So between the Devil and the deep blue Seed and and the Boss is not gonna put up with this, and he’s made it very clear that this stuff’s gotta stop. And he’s gotta stop.

Speaker 1 I mean, and I guess anything everybody.

Speaker 2 Wants people, but Canada politicians there, they got to stop killing Americans, that’s all.

Speaker 1 So I think that the Boss wants is a fair deal with the with the Canadians. Maybe they should sit down with the with the next government, which is going to take a flavor place instead of sitting down with the people that are a gun.

Speaker 2 You are an agent. You are an agent provocateur, Johnny Katz. So I try to have common sense the Boss. But I think you know what I love, though, is your show is it gets into the meat and potatoes of the of the real issues. And for me, this one is something that is special to me because I started

fighting this thing back in twenty seventeen and I watched for four years the problem get worse, not better, and the callousness of China, Canada, and Mexico. With respect to all these Americans dying is really stunning in a way.

This is this didn’t is not a new problem. It’s it’s an old problem. And we’re well well over a million Americans lost to that. And the Boss was talking mccada mean yesterday very eloquently. How if you lose a son or a daughter, decentel You’ve seen people friends of his who were just happy people live in a wonderful life,

and that happens, and they’re never the same. That’s his words, and he’s right. So let’s let’s not have that happen. We got we get behind the Boss on this. When you hear tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China.

Speaker 1 We both stand understand we both we both stand side by side with the Boss, and we want and we want America. You know, the art of the deal. He makes sure that the United States and and the people of the United States get a fair deal compared to the people in the rest of the world.

Speaker 2 Well, look the reality here, and you ask me for the big picture is every major trading partner we have teesus, they have higher tariffs, they have no higher non tariff barriers, things like the battas and and regulations that make it impossible for us to sell them food or autos and everything in between. And they used this historically, John like

a piggy bank. And we lose jobs, we lose factories when we run a big trade deficit. Uh, they come and use the tradion dollars a year we run that deficit in to buy buy up half of Manhattan and her food supply and her egg land and everything in between.

That’s got to stop, Johnny.

Speaker 1 I stand by your side on that. Uh. Well, Peter Navarov, thank you so much for everything you do. God bless you, God bless America, and uh let them let America win foot

Speaker 2 Change bad as you, sir, you keep doing what you’re doing, Jenny Cash,
