Automated transcript · uncorrectedSunday Morning with us this morning is Congresswoman and a Paulina Luna from the great state of Florida, and it’s one great state and whenever I’m down there, I always feel safer. Congresswoman Luna tell us about all the things that are going on in Florida that makes all your residents feel safer.
Well, first of all, there is absolutely a respect and appreciation for law enforcement, and what we’re funding is in some of these blue states where you have the policies that really disrespect that and undermine the ability of law enforcement to do their jobs, what ultimately ends up happening is you have kind of an environment and its basically
created environment that really allows some of these people that are lawless to really have the upper hand. And so we’ve been really great at backing our first responders, our law enforcement, and then also really under governor Disantasies pass a lot of legislation that actually de incentivizes some of these paid protesters to show up in front of people’s
houses and disrupt education, disrupting business. And so where is your talk state for that?
I understood in the Yeah, one of the things when I’m in Florida, I feel safer. I have a permit in New York City, and if I’m on my beach house and somebody comes in and wants to harm my family and I shoot him, I go to jail. And I understand you in Florida, you have the right to
shoot and intrudah to trying to too hot for your family.
Yeah, I actually, you know, John, it’s interesting that you bring that up because recently, I don’t know if you saw the headlines, but there was a gentleman by the name of William Braddock who is tried and convicted in federal court for actually threatening to have me murdered, and he was given three years in federal prison after he
fled the country. So I take especially personal safety very seriously, and especially in states like Florida. We do have your standard ground law which enables you to defend your home, defend your property, but also too, if I can, you know, extend further. I’ve been a huge advocate and that if you have a concealed care in one state, you should
really have that concealed carey recognized in other states and have reciprocity. And so I’ve made sure to champion that issue on the national stage. But you are right. I mean again, when you have policies that really enable law abiding citizens to protect themselves, protect their families, you actually see a decline in some of these issues in regards
to you know, whether it’s pet petty, theft, assault, burglary, all of it, and it actually creates the safer environment. And so you know, my story and kind of how I got involved with being an advocate for the Second Amendment is you know, I had attended over six high schools, one of which there was actually gang shooting on campus.
And then when I was younger, I’d actually walked into an armed robbery with my dad at a seven eleven, And so I know firsthand what happens when you have bad guys with firearms, and it’s really only the good guys with firearms that stop them. So we have to make sure that you are enabled.
We’ve got to bring our country back to law and order. And the other thing I more upset about is that the Democratic judges are after the office of the President say that That’s another discussion for another day, I understand, is a couple of issues that you’re upset about.
Yeah, so, most recently you’re seeing that there’s been a call to question on whether or not the pardons that President Biden’s signed were actually valid. And what was interesting is after the Trump administration took over, they were actually able to overline or overlay the signatures of many of these pardons that Biden has fined, and they found that
in every single one of the pardons there was no anomalies in regards to changes in the signature. So you know, if anyone signs something personally, it’s going to have some very slight changes in actual signature itself, and they found that there is no changes. In fact, there were one hundred percent matches, which means they were done by an autopen. Now,
an autopen is something that members of Congress members have Senate and sometimes the President will use in regards if you’re sending letters hand written notes to such, but they shouldn’t be used for pardons. And so what we’re finding now is last Congress, I was the only member of Congress that was calling to question Garland and wanting to
fold him in inherent contempt. That means using my congressional authority to basically bring punitive action against him for defying Congress’s subpoena on the her tapes. The her tapes were the recordings of the interviewing deposition that Biden did in regards to the document in his garage scandals and ultimately with four Republicans that had actually protected him from being
held accountable. And that is the him as in Garland. While what we found recently is this administration had released those her recordings, and what we’re finding is Biden indeed was suffering from cognitive decline. And so what that means is that a who was running the autopen be It’s absolutely a scandal because that means people were pardoning themselves
potentially that shouldn’t have ever been given part an authority by the president. And then also you have the fact that members of Congress were indeed protecting a president who was unfortunately cognitive cognitively not the So that means maybe otherwise people he was signing was considered a valid.
And there was people running the White House, running the country. And I don’t think President Biden knew what was going on.
Yeah, you know when he was here. When he was here John, after the hurricanes, you can tell that he was indefinitely a very very weak position. He was having obviously some health issues and so what I would say is that the people that apparently were running the country were never elected, and so this isn’t I think that
this scandal is probably bigger than Water.
Games, I understand, And there were people running the country that were not authorized to run the country. And I hope and what they’re trying to do, congress Woman is delayed, delay, delay, and throw curve balls into the office of the President, into other things, and to make sure the Democrats get elect in twenty twenty six. And you know what that means.
If they get elected in twenty twenty six.
We’re going to read you over again.
Yep, yes, yes, and America will be under attack again. Thank you, Congresswoman Luna for coming on and thank you for being one tough lady and demanding the truth and demanding I love tough ladies, demanding the truth and helping our country. And God bless you and God bless America.
Thank you, sir. We’ll see soon.
