Automated transcript · uncorrectedSunday morning. The good using from British Columbia, Canada that the ostriches are still alive. Thank you for the help for Secretary Kennedy and doctor Oz. And with us today is Katie uh Pasciiti and she is the owner of the farm of the four hundred ostriches. And good morning Sunday morning, Katie. What’s how do the ostriches look this morning?
They look fabulous. The sun is shining and there are some of them are dancing, happy and healthy.
Now, so the status right now is right now the c f i A, which is the Canadian Food Inspection Agency UH and it’s run by UH Paul Keenan is it? And now I understand the previous guy, Heath Donald has come back and anything new from them, Yeah.
Just sounds like they have spoke about it a couple of times in the house here. Everybody went back into sessions and he’s just stating that he doesn’t they don’t want to be influenced by TikTok and social media about how to handle things that they’re really worried about, just our food supply and taking the Canada into consideration. When
at the beginning of all this we have to remember this is all about trading partner policies.
Katie. They’re talking about the ostriches is food to my best knowledge, and I don’t know is Canada that well? And I’m not sure if you know, is anybody in Canada using ostriches for food to.
My best knowledge? No, not in Canada.
So why are they classifying them like that? I don’t understand.
Yeah, and they’re not poetry either, John, And that’s another one. So we don’t you know, we’re not a chicken, and we’re not a duck or a turkey or goose. We have a large shit three hundred pounds red meat birds.
Yeah, and I understand In the United States, Secretary Kennedy has discontinued the vaccines for maderna. And is it true that they’re pushing for the farmers to take the maderna vaccine even though it might not be one hundred percent they are.
It looks like that’s what it’s coming to. I mean for them to be purchasing five hundred and fifty thousand doses. And then if you look at our numbers of farms, commercial farms, and then you number your times out by farmers, why would we get five hundred and fifty thousand doses only, and so they did it with our front line workers,
they did it with our truckers, and now we’re sitting here at the cusp of our farmers.
And uh, you know, a lot of a lot of Americans have been told by doctors not to get those vaccines. And I don’t know what the story is there. Now. Some people have been calling w ABC that there’s a connection between Moderna in Canada, uh and uh what they’re trying to do with the ostriches. Have you heard anything
like that?
No, I haven’t.
I haven’t, okay, because we we’ve had some calls, and uh, I guess I guess we could always uh get Moderna in the United States to testify what the Canadian dealer is.
MM. Yeah, I am definitely. I you know, I still sit here with so much hope and thank you to all of your your assistant Secretary Kennedy, doctor Oz, and all the American people who are pouring in their support.
But I definitely there’s a level of concern and there’s a level of anxiety that sits here on this farm every day because there’s been such unwillingness to work with us and just not let us test the animals to prove they’re healthy.
Absolutely, I mean the battle cry is test the animals to prove they’re healthy before you kill them. Why kill the animals and not test them by independent source?
Yep, And they’re doing it on a global scale. Stamping out is how we got to where we are right now talking to you, and so stamping out is what we’re trying to address. The ostriches that are a recovered flock.
They are a recovered flock, and this is the first time we’ve been able to see it because we thought to keep them.
Alive, and they may have antibodies that are very valuable to science.
Absolutely, they hold a golden egg that can offer so much opportunity for human and animal health, treating diseases and viruses just like this one, stabilizing it on a global scale, and we be you know, Canada is silly to be eradicating that and shielding that opportunity from the USA and all the world.
Well, I would say, as an American, I would hold the people at CFI CFI a responsible and I would ask I would demand an investigation if anything happened to those animals.
Yes, absolutely, but we’re not going to get there. We’re going to stop this before it happens. And I have faith and all of the American people and Canada that we can make the change possible that all farmers deserve.
Thank you so much, Katie Pasidne farmer, British Columbia, Canada. Thank you for bringing w ABC to our attention. And God bless you. God bless all America. When I say God bless all America, I mean Canada and the United States.
Thank you, John, Thank you
