Automated transcript · uncorrectedSunday Morning with us is doctor Peter milos Ah and he’s lived long and prosper and he saved a lot of lives of our listeners on WABC and doctor Milo said, what’s on your mind this morning?
Well, today we have to talk about something. You know. The big elephant in the room, of course is COVID and we’ve discussed that quite a bit, and a lot of our predictions came out to be true about how viruses behave and back in nineteen seventeen eighteen, and this virus, initially they are very deadly, but eventually they become much
more contagious because they want to survive, but they’re not as deadly because they learn to survive mutually with their hotel human hosts. And now throughout Asia, in like twenty countries, there’s been an outbreak of a new highly infectious COVID nineteen variant called the NB one eight one, and the uh good news is that it is not as deadly,
though there have been some reported deaths so far twenty in China, and as of March, it has shown up in California, Ohio, Arizona, Washington State, Virginia, and New York City and most commonly it’s found in adults sixty five and up and in China, the er visits one from seven and a half percent of all of our visits
to sixteen percent, which is basically a doubling of emergency room visits in China. And the way it presents is cough, sore throat, and fever, and a doctor two in Hong Kong said that the vaccines that we have are for older variants and not as effective for carent variants. The good news is now we have access to anti virus
like mal nupiavira, which is called of egrio and used widely in other countries, that doesn’t have drug interactions like some of the other anti virals on the market, and if you take it super early in block viral replication, not only will it shorten the course of disease reduce viral load, but they also showed that long term it
may reduce long hold COVID, which is becoming one of the top causes of disability the United States, which gives you brain fog, fatigue, and cardiac issues like rapid heart rate. They don’t really fully understand it. In many hospitals around the United States now are opening up longhole COVID centers, but we don’t have to. You know, again, worry about
as much. If you test positive, please immediately take a trip to your local urgent care center, your doctor. You can even buy over the counter covid and flu a flu B test all in one, swipe yourself and if you have the flu, you can take tamiflu. If you have covid, you can get momolupyvre. So there are things
that you can do now. And then the other fascinating thing is that they found that younger people are showing up with more colon cancer. And it turns out that a certain strain of E. Coli, not the strain that causes travelers and diarrhea and food poisoning, but a certain strain of E. Coli is linked to higher cancer rates
in young adults. And this strain makes a toxin called Coli bactin, and it actually can alter DNA. And this is fascinating because now they’ve found that basically certain toxins like tobacco and UV, like every time you smoke a cigar and it goes through your system, it leaves a mutational signature and a DNA like a fingerprint that on
a crime scene right on the cell, and that alteration then causes the cell to go crazy and multiply faster. And that is what cancer is. And of course we know and we’ve learned that rising insulin levels and increase sugar levels.
Now I mean, we mean, you know, we talked about the colon cancers. That your body extracts anything that’s not good for it, and whether you send it out in the gas, or whether you send it out in your liquid urine, or whether you send it out and through your coling and you know, in your ear, but if
it stays there. In other words, what happens is if you’re using any kind of uh, certain food, certain medicines that gives you constipation and and the toxin stain your coling, just what’s going to happen?
Yeah, and you’re absolutely right. You mentioned the gases, and you’re right on track because guess what. Now they found that when you have small intestinal bacteria overgrowth called cebo in the intestine, and that can cause a lot of problems.
It produces hydrogen sulfide gas and methane gas, and it can be measured through a breathalyzer test. And there’s even companies. One actually happens to be right on Long Island and they claim that, and it looks like in the early research it’s going to might be possible that with the breath you can see the signals of certain gases that
increased the diagnosis for colon cancer, and they can diagnose sepsis they’re claiming now through breath, and there’s even going to be eventually, you know, testing of other diseases through the gases produced by the bacteria and the gut. And this is a whole fascinara area. That’s why these new gut health tests like done by integrated medicine specialists like
the gut Zumer, and they can actually tell you and sequence every little last bacteria, parasite, mole, everything in your gut. It’s just amazing. And in the future they even found that a certain bacteriical acromanca and the colon, if it was higher levels, you had a better response to immune therapy when you had lung cancer. And then what they
did is the people who didn’t have a good response to the chemotherapy, they made little poop pills from the poop of the people who did have a good response and when they got higher levels of that bacteria, they responded better to the immune therapy. And actually, interestingly, this bacteria acromancia, actually loves pomegranate and that’s why having pomegranate
juice and some people take in the form of pills, it promotes the growth of this bacteria that actually boosts the immune system and helps it fight off cancer, which is fascinating.
Well, remember what we said, if God makes it, eat it. If a manufacturer makes it, that only cares about what it’s how good does it taste, and how long does it last on the shelf, Avoid it, And that’s it’s always a good rule.
Yeah, farm to table, like the Mediterranean diet on the Greek islands and Sardinia, that’s the way to go.
And you want to keep things moving, eat a lot of figs.
Absolutely figs, the natural laxative keeps things moving along. And the less things stay in your gut, the less stay fester. Less toxins get into your bloodstream.
And let’s if you let your toxins fester, you can end up with cancer. My opinolutely my opinion. Thank you doctor me. Hello, So let’s catch up again real soon.
