Speaker 1 Sunday morning with us. Is Jack Ciarelli possibly the next governor of New Jersey and there’s a primary on Tuesday. Jack, give us an update. Where are we and what issues are you concerned about?

Speaker 2 John, We’re gonna make that possibility of reality come Tuesday night. We’re in the third day of early voting here in New Jersey. It goes through Sunday and then Tuesday is primary day itself. We continue to get up and down the state talk about the affordability crisis in New Jersey.

Our individuals in business, they had the highest taxes in the country. We’ve got a public safety crisis. Take a acups off the local police, let them do their job. I my Attorney General, will allow that to happen. We’ve got a public education crisis in the state. We just slipped from two to twelve on a national report card

because of what the Murphys and the Democrats in Trenton have done in the public school curriculum. We’ve got an overdevelopment crisis in our suburbs. And finally, we got an energy crisis. John. Our electricity bills are going through the roof.

It’s because filmur we bet everything on wind and the whole thing came crashing down. I’ll fix that. We’ll burn that more natural gas and enhance our expand our nuclear footprint in South Jersey and Jack.

Speaker 1 Another big problem is happening that is exploding in Long Island, that possibly the windmills are going to go in effect starting to build them in Long Island, and that’s gonna affect New Jersey. So somebody has to speak up on behalf of New Jersey.

Speaker 2 It certainly can in terms of our recreational and commercial fishing industries. You bet. I mean, we believe that the piling of those windmills affects all of sea life and the ocean ecology and Jersey shore. So you know, my job is the work at partnership with the President make sure it’s not happening of our Jersey shore.

Speaker 1 I talked to President Trump the other night and and he hates windmills and the efficiency the windmills. There’s no efficiency, there’s no purpose in doing them anymore.

Speaker 2 Yes, And you know, for those that are advocating for the wind farms, John, they need to stop comparing us to the North Sea. The North Sea off of Europe is very very different from here. What we have off of Long island, of course, off of our cherished Jersey shore.

They’re bad economics, they’re bad energy policy, they’re bad environmental policy. We need a rational transition to the future that’s natural gas and nuclear until the future arrives, whether it’s fusion energy, carbon capture, or Hunderson’s cell battery technology. So you know you want to be on the cutting edge, John, but you know as a businessman, you don’t want to be

on the bleeding edge. The wind farms of the bleeding.

Speaker 1 Edge agreed, and Jash said to rally, why are you too democratic? US senators in New Jersey demanding we bring back the criminals have been deported back to New Jersey.

Speaker 2 Because they pannered to the far left. This is ridiculous. The President ran almost primarily on this issue to make the country safe again. That meant securing the border. Illegal immigration has stopped almost entirely since the President took office.

My job is to work in partnership with him, and I’ll do that by having no sanctuary cities in New Jersey. We will not be a sanctuary state. Those two things encouraged illemigration, and we’re not doing that. And my Attorney general won’t be suing the White House over any of his executive orders dedicated to keeping our country safe. Listen,

this New Jersey is his summer home, John, You know that he’s very, very fond of our state. Absolutely.

Speaker 2 Yeah. His poll numbers in New Jersey right now are seven points better than Phil Murphy. That tells me he’s right on the issues. People voted for Trump.

Speaker 1 Donald Trump, Donald Trump loves New Jersey. His summer home is there. Donald Trump loves New York, and he sent us Tom Holman to New York to make New York safer, right.

Speaker 2 And that’s the number one goal today. And I think every governor has an obligation to work in partnership with the President on these measures to make our country safe again.

Speaker 1 Jack Sidarelli, good luck on Tuesday for the primary. We’re looking to have a go to your celebration, and God bless you and God bless America.

Speaker 2 Well, John, I look forward to coming on soon thereafter as the nominee for the Republican Party and on to victory November.

Speaker 1 Thank you, thank you.
