Speaker 1 Sunday morning, how do we live longer? With us today is doctor Peter Michlos, who we have nicknamed him Live Long and prosper Doctor Michelos. What is our tips for today?

Speaker 2 Well, today we’re going to talk about the exciting frontier of all these new tests that are coming out which help us to experience longevity and help span. And there was some exciting news recently that a new genomic test can diagnose eighty six percent of the bacteria viruses that may be in our body. So, for example, when they

analyze cerebral spinal fluid, you have to send it off for cultures and figure out. But now there’s a test that eighty six percent of the time can tell you, for example, which type of meningitis you have, whether it’s viral ver or it’s bacterial, and can help you diagnose and get treatment faster. And what does it look for.

It looks for genetic mutation. So imagine you have a key that opens the door to your house, and the mutation is like one of the notches on your keee gets cracked off and then it doesn’t work. And that’s what genetic DNA mutation is. So that’s one example of testing like that, now, whether.

Speaker 1 Is it any particular items that does include versus doesn’t.

Speaker 2 Include, Well, it includes any virus and bacteria that’s known to man that’s been identified through the genomic sequencing. Just like we can identify now from a gut health test, we can identify which exact virus is in bacteria you have inside your gut. Now they can do it inside your bloodstream, inside bodily fluids, and you can identify infections

much quicker and faster, which is rather amazing. In addition, there is now even a blood test that you can even get at a regular lab like even quite well, the pe taus to seventeen, which tells you whether you have a lot of amyloid plaque in your brain and gives you a risk assessment of whether you have Alzheimer’s

or you have an increased risk of Alzheimer’s. And that test is actually available right now. It costs about three hundred and nineteen dollars to get. Problem is insurance. A lot of the insurances don’t cover it yet. In ad there’s another company, Eco Vibrant Health that can give the tests that evaluate cardiovascular health and it looks to understand

the risk of heart disease, and it reveals the roleogenetics that play in your cardiac help, so it helps your doctors. You show these tests to your doctrin and say, this is what I’m concerned about, this is what my genetic profile is telling me. And there’s even a toxic test where you can learn whether you have heavy metals in

your body, toxic molds and other things. And there’s another company that’s working on a test that will even check from microplastics. For example, when they looked at some tumors and cancers and they looked and they found these interesting reflections on the microscope and then they figured out, oh my god, this is microplastics. So they’ve been finding some

of these microplastics and some of these forever chemicals from our drinking water and they’re showing up inside tumors in our body, which is another fascinating area.

Speaker 1 So the microplastics that we drink our soda or water from is showing up in tumors in our body.

Speaker 2 Right in certain tea bags, as we talked about, that are made in nylon. When the nylon bag hits the hot water, it releases millions of micro and nanoparticles of plastic and those seem to end up in our bodies, and our ancestors one hundred years ago didn’t have microplastics in their lungs and their bloodstream. So this is another

issue that is a problem in some of these forever chemicals. For example, in the YOU they have very strict regulations when they look, for example, at American French fries in a fast food restaurant, they’ve found salt, potatoes, and oil.

And then they looked at the American ones and they found all these different preservatives, including one that was like a formulin from aldeyde And these things don’t exist in other places where they have tighter regulations on what you can and can’t use inside food. So the bottom line is, as we’ve talked about the longevity avoiding processed foods, it’s

probably a very very good idea to do. And then the other test we’ve talked about is the Gallery test that can spot fifty cancers with one blood test, and that’s now being utilized in various countries, including in some socialized medicine countries like the National Health System in the UK.

They’re starting to look at it because they say, if you can catch a tumor early and you can catch, for example, a breast cancer, a colon cancer early, you can definitely increase the life expected. See and sometimes you can get cures if you catch it super early. And there’s an other test, for example, that doesn’t replace a colonoscopy,

but called colon guard and they can take a sample of your food basically and analyze it and you can find the genetic mutations of colon cancer. And that’s probably the least invasive test of all, which is pretty amazing, and it’s not that expensive and it is covered by Medicare and your doctor can order it. So in the other.

Speaker 1 Test that we talked about that gives you the which infection you have, because the old test we used to take, the one that gave us a variance between one and twenty was called by ESG O.

Speaker 2 E r G used t ESR for inflammation.

Speaker 1 YESR inflammation, so inflammation where it exists. Now the new test will tell you where in the body the inflammation exists.

Speaker 2 It’s going to tell you which organism because inflammation can come from trauma, but infection the common cause of the problem. So this will tell us which bug is it a rotavirus? Is it? The dip is it strep? Is it men in jacaco? Is it exactly the exact organism? So if you know the exact organism, quickly guess what. If you

know the organism, you know exactly which bacteria, you know what kind of bullets the fire at it exactly. You know what your enemy is and you know exactly how to attack it.

Speaker 1 Well, Doctor Peter mihillos, Live Long and prosper, which is a great nickname we gave you. You know, we don’t know about Livelong and prosper until twenty fourth century, but we’re using it now.

Speaker 2 Thank you, John for always getting the truth out on the Cat’s found table and helping our audience to live long and prosper.

Speaker 1 God bless you
